The drive thru wait was long and i order single steakburger got a double and ask was my side of cheese in the bag. Glad i check before I pulled off no cheese sauce in the bag . And bun was so stale just feel apart when i pick it up.
I literally came home out of the heat ready to enjoy my BOWL of Chilli that is right at $6 ! Well what I got was a CUP size of Chilli in a BOWL! I cant believe how cheated I feel. When I called to calmly explain my frustration, the phone rang about 25-30 times...then a hang up! I'm so tired of places TAKING my money and skimping on delivery of what I actually paid for.
I'm sorry but they don't have waitresses no more you got to order your food on computer pick it up just like McDonald's and it's not worth the price
Gave me a shake that was entirely whipped cream in a large cup. Fries were cold and soggy. Didn't add extra patty despite me paying for it.Crazy because I order from the other steak n shake not too far from here (exact same meal) pretty often and this has never happened.
Stop going to the Steak n Shake on Hampton. Maybe 10 years ago that was the better location, but Chippewa is now the golden child ?My fiance and I went to both recently, because of the question: which is better? We only did drive-thru, but the experiences could not have been more different.Hampton: waited in the drive thru for a literal hour. Like we STARTED a CD upon leaving the house and FINISHED the 90 minute CD before getting back home. There was no apology at any point for our wait, and the line wrapped around the building spilling out onto Hampton the entire time we were there.Chippewa: no cars ahead of us. Guy at the payment window happily chats with us while checking our gift cards. After discovering we have One Dollar remaining, we're embarrassed, but he's still chipper! Jokes about the Cardinals, gets us our milkshakes, our food and we are back on the road in less than 10 minutes.Stop being a sheeple at Hampton, come to Chippewa, and get the Frisco Melt your cardiologist wishes you never heard of ?
We had a fantastic very fun experience here! Marco kept us very entertained with his bubbly personality and Jermall was very welcoming and they both had amazing customer service skills! The food was amazing and cooked perfectly! We signed up to the app whilst there and got a free shake for it which was awesome as well. Highly recommend this Steak 'n Shake site if you get chance to visit. Good vibes and very clean dining room!
I have been craving this for a long time, but my wife always says they are greasy. We were driving by and I said I wanted one, and my son said "me too", so I decided to indulge.I guess now I understand what she meant. It seemed like the crisp flake of beef carried more grease than the bacon, though it was quite dry.I don't know if they did anything wrong that I could put my finger on, but it just was not the delightful steakburger experience I remembered from eating in-store.Even the strawberry shakes seemed like a powder mix instead of fresh ice cream. :(
I hadn't gone to Steak 'n Shake in a really long time. Didn't have to wait long for my order and my burger was freaking delicious.
12/7/21 did online order. Excepted my payment. Went to pick up order and restaurant closed. Spoke to james 12/8/21 for refund. 1/8/22 still no refund. I have spoke to james 5x since and 5x james said he will call corporate and call me back. He has yet to call back. I have now filed a complaint with mo attorney General office and BBB.
Ordered from this location on the Steak and Shake app. Our money was taken. We then waited 30 minutes for our food, which was never brought out. We tried calling the store multiple times but were never able to reach anyone, despite being able to see people moving around inside. The doors said hours were 10am-10pm. We went at 230pm. The doors were locked and their was a chair blocking the drive thru.
