Great place. Had the breakfast tamales and they were wonderfully prepared and arranged. Delicious, period. Had a sopapilla as well which was also excellent. Service was great. This place is a must try.

Best Bfast in St. Lou!!!!

We sat outside in the shade on a busy Saturday morning and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Biscuits and gravy were delightful and they basted the eggs to perfection. Our server was cheerful and pleasant.

The great - service and courtyard. The outdoor seating is beautiful. Really. Love the wood and the gating and the artwork. The waiter was stellar. We had two unruly boys and he was so easy and accomodating. Also the sopapillas. Definitely real sopapillas and delicious. The just ok was the breakfast. I had some spicy pork thing with eggs and tortillas. The tortillas were fresh but I felt like I had a few lil hunks of pork swimming in gravy soup. Not impressed. Potatoes room temp and its hard to screw up eggs.I wanted to love it. Its perfectly fine.

I like this place, I've been at least 10 times ...a little lite on African Americans and a few servers seem to be dismissive but I didn't get a bad vibe overall, my food and specialty drink recommended by a server was on point.Im going to give them another chance

One of the best places you can go, great service, friendly, fast ,and, The best cooks , and servers!!!,next to boardwalk Cafe, #1 in Webster groves Missouri as well???? both a tie to me ? ?

The two stars gained are strictly for the service because that was great but the food…TWO THUMBS DOWN!!!! The grits dish had absolutely no flavor like not even salt could help it. Then they put all the red sauce on there and it’s nothing but spice…still no flavor just hot. The burrito was edible but once again not a lick of flavor just BLAND!!!!! The coffee taste old even after watching them make a fresh pot. The Paloma I had was pretty good but the margarita was pitiful. I won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend

Amazing biscuit and gravy. Best I’ve had! Was super busy on this particular Saturday morning at approximately 10am. Wait outside. Ended up getting lucky and sitting at the counter right away. Will definitely be back.

I love Southwest. The first time I went here (I’m a New Mexican living in the Midwest and always hunting for decent green chiles) I literally cried of happiness. The chiles are hot, the food is flavorful, the coffee is endless. Pictured are the breakfast burrito (with cheese and extra chile sauce) and the huevos rancheros (supreme). I’ve also had their posole, scrambles, sopapillas, nothing disappoints.

Neighborhood place. Small inside so expect to wait, even through the week. Very good food and wait staff was excellent. Street parking.
