Delicious dumplings for a reasonable price! Very welcoming and fast service. The cucumber salad and starter soup were refreshing and the braised pork dish melts on your tongue. My favorite dumplings were the beef ones, but I also recommend all the other available flavors.
Absolutely delicious food! It was my first time eating soup dumplings and they were AMAZING! Staff was super nice and the space is clean, cute and trendy. (They even have a how-to mural on the wall on how to properly eat the dumplings!) Overall, it’s great food at a great price. Would highly recommend!
First time eating at this place. Got an order of beef soup dumplings, pork soup dumplings and braised pork & rice. If anyone is looking to eat soup dumplings, I'd HIGHLY recommend this place! I'll be going back there again very soon, and the next time I'll be getting more than just one order of each.
Holy soup dumplings! These are everything you ever wanted in a soup dumpling! Hot, soupy, flavorful, perfection.We ordered the pork soup dumplings and then ordered more. It doesn’t take long to eat them so come hungry, and order plenty.The restaurant was clean, friendly. Overall this place was the highlight of visiting St Louis. Add this place to your list.
I had a wonderful time enjoying my novel experience. You get great value for your dollar here and the staff is nice. I will surely be back next time when I’m in the area. The soup dumplings are available in beef, pork, chicken, and there are a few other options. Great beef
I tried the beef dumplings and the shrimp/pork dumplings and I prefer the beef version. The broth was so rich and silky, irresistible! I can see why the warning on the wall is so big. The dumplings are so enticing, you will hurt yourself trying to taste the yummy soup. The pork and rice was a huge surprise. It was four generous chunks of pork belly, braised in a delicious sauce. The meat felt sturdy when I picked them up with my chopsticks. When I bit into the pork belly; the fat immediately dissolved and commingled with the sauce to create an unbelievably flavorful stew completed with tender shreds of bacony goodness. Not gonna lie, I drooled before I ate the next bite. The rice pudding dessert was a family favorite. It is a sticky rice pocket with lovely, aromatic spices, filled with a sweet, sticky red bean paste, and topped with dried fruit and nuts. We drove two hours from Columbia, MO to try these and it was worth the trip!
My partner and I found this restaurant through a post on instagram from Corner17. The atmosphere is so comfortable, the food was delicious and came out quickly and it was reasonably priced. I couldn't ask for a better experience eating soup dumplings. The best dumplings in our opinion was the crab and pork followed closely behind by the chicken. They also offer freshly squeezed orange juice that is so delicious despite the fact that I do not like oranges. We also got the braised pork and rice and I have never had pork so tender and full of flavour. I can’t wait to come back!
This restaurant is amazing. The restaurant has a clean, modern look. The food is delicious and isn't overly expensive. I got the pork dumplings and they were spectacular. The staff is extremely friendly and you can see them making the dumplings right in front of you. I highly recommend eating here.
We visited Soup Dumpling and can absolutely state that the food does not disappoint! The location is very clean, staff is incredibly kind and professional. My daughters and I loved the ambiance, food and cleanliness. A definite must go if you are in the St. Louis, MO area!
Dumplings are truly amazing. We had the chicken, beef and pork and shrimp dumplings. Honestly I can't even decide what's my favorite because they all were incredible. Excellent service, staff was kind and very informative. Broths were delightfully balanced and each content of the dumplings was cooked thoroughly and beautifully balanced with spices. Dumplings were strong enough to give proper soup dumpling bounce and droop without busting.All in all, place is perfect to have some friends and each delicious food and have a good time. I definitely will be returning on the regular.
