I'm fairly new to St Louis and this was the first time I tried Soulard Gyros. I ordered through Doordash. The gyro was okay but nothing to rave about. Overpriced in my opinion. I'm from Chicago where I would get two meals out of a $10 gyro! Not this one. Not sure if I'll be ordering from them again. I need to try out a few other places first before I decide.
Food is great, prices are not. Kids chicken bites was about $8 and I basically got 5 McDonald sized chicken strip bites with fries.
Someone said Soulard Gyro has the best Döner kebab (I ordered mine without tomato). I can't say I was overly impressed. They only had chicken available, and only one Döner bread avail when I visited on Tuesday afternoon. The chicken was very lightly seasoned and lacking the crispy/burnt ends, the bread wasn't toasted and there wasn't enough sauce. To be fair, it was still a decent sandwich. Having lived in Germany for many years and traveling around Turkey, I'm pretty spoiled in the Döner department. So even though I wasn't blown away, I'm glad to see someone trying them.
Stopped by while on the road and was pleasantly surprised. Delicious Mediterranean food with several novel options. The Philly Gyro was unique and satisfying. Recommend if you're in the area.
Great food and staff were all very friendly. Tables were all clean and staff engaged in conversation while food was being prepared. Didnt have to waiting and it was worth it. Would recommend for anyone as there were a lot of options on the menu.
Without it out one of the best gyros I've had... And that includes both Greek festivals. Take time to enjoy the world's best pita bread and tzatziki while there.
Great gyros and amazing roasted red pepper hummus. Great choice for a quick bite after church. Clean restaurant, quick service and fresh ingredients. What more could you ask for?
The food is very tasty but the place itself really needs a deep cleaning. The staff is also not as friendly. I walked in to pick up an order and there was nobody there. All the guys were in the back smoking. They didn’t wash their hands either before coming back to work. I only give it 3 star because food is good. I would still recommend it but please someone tell the owners to make sure their staff is clean and the place is clean of you’re going to sell food
I can say it was so yummy ? that I forgot take a photo but we won be eating here again. My husband got the meat lovers gyro and he said it was really good. The gyro fries were really good too
Absolutely delicious Doner Kebab. Fresh, hot and full of good stuff...may never go back to the classic gyro again!! But it wouldn't be a bad choice either!! These guys hustle to get you fed! And it is all good!
