The food is amazing I cannot take that from them! Buuut their customer service is whack! They are rude! They don't allow you to fully order over the phone, and when you get there it's worse! I wanted greens which I was trying to ask if they had any done today, over the phone but I was rushed off. When I got there he stated there was no greens and nonchalantly told me to come back tomorrow as if their food is cheap! He then started to explain how much work it takes to make greens, which honestly isnt my concern AS A CUSTOMER! Mind you I placed my order over the phone upon arrival and he told me to come on, and assured me it would be ready before I got there and it wasnt! The female cook came out and told me my rib tips would be a minute with a displeasing attitude and tone as if I did something to her.. I left and didn't spend a dime! HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE customer service!
I just moved bast to stl and I haven't quite settled in yet. This past Sunday I really wanted some soul food. To know me is to know I don't eat anyone's soul food but I took a chance and I'm glad I did. Everything was on point. I love that the menu changes everyday & I'm very happy with Sundays menu. I got a dinner and I will say it's a bit pricey but what isn't? It was worth it. The staff is friendly and quick. I'll be going back for sure.
I went to the restaurant around 2:30pm. I waited because long conversations were being held in the line. I ordered a couple of the menu items. I was told we only have what you see. I ordered my food and I felt pressured to get two sides for each meal even if I didn’t want it. I ordered three meals, my bill was $52.00. Which to me was high because as a three person house hold I could feed us with $35. The food was good, I just over priced.

I didn't want to be the one to say this, but this is SALTYYY! I know my people love flavor but y'all it's really too salty. The macaroni and green beans especially. Had a whole headache. And I pretty much don't find anything salty normally. But if you can handle that, the portions are definitely decent. The prices are a little steep, but outside of the saltiness you get what you can pay for quantity-wise..

Portions huge, seasoned to perfection, pricey but worth it in comparison to other Soul Food locations. My only gripe is they run out of the good quick, so get there first. Oh and oxtails are the best.
The Food was AMAZING!! Everything homemade!! The dressing was BOMB .. the Mac&cheese baked SO GOOD!! Omg The first place too come after a good service from church!! Love IT LOVE IT LOVE IT!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Omgggggggg

Dressing IS NOT HOME MADE and the yams taste like they're from a can. Mac n cheese was good tho!
