This is my first negative comment about this place. I usually LOVE my smoothies. However this time I made an online order. Came in at the time my order was supposed to be ready. One associate was eating breakfast and the other was talking to him. My order wasn't ready and was rushed to be made. I thanked her and she apologized about the order not being ready. Unfortunately the vegan nutty smoothie that I ordered was not as I expected. So I asked for another one. I've never had an bad experience with this franchise, but this location can use some help, apparently. ?
This is seriously the worst location, please beware. Such rude workers first of all, I also have never received a smoothie with any kind of flavor. I don’t know if it’s just because no one wants to work at smoothie kings anymore that they cannot find good staff or what but, the owner needs to do something. I am most likely going to call corporate. I wasn't even greeted with a hello, and my smoothie tastes like water. Replace this location with something else.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I went there today between 9:10am-9:16am after making an online order for 3 smoothies. I get there and only 1 of my smoothies was ready. I told myself, no problem, I'm sure they are working on the others. Wrong... the young man and young lady was just there making some sort of social media video dancing around. there was no line and only 2 customers who already had their smoothies and was just sitting there chatting amongst themselves.I asked them if my smoothies were ready and they looked at each other baffled, I explained my online order and the young lady asked him if he got it, he asked her if she got it. As politely as possible, I said... one of you, I don't care which one, should be working on my smoothies.The young man began making them, never apologizing for the unprofessionalism. He made it wrong, so he remade it. I waited patiently. When he finished, he put the lid on them completely ignoring the fact that a lot of the smoothie had run over and was running down the sides of the cup. I was so annoyed I almost walked out without it and asked for a refund, but the order wasn't just for me. This was my first visit at this location and I will never go to it again. I will drive the extra mins to the next location.
This is the most pompous little a-hole I’ve ever met in the service industry. He constantly locks the door during regular business hours and then yells at me for wasting his time and tells me to go sit in my car like a regular person, which by the way, is causing a massive traffic pile up. Oh and today he told me he was the manager, which is false. He’s currently making me wait in the lobby while he makes EVERYONE IN THE CAR LINE a smoothie to punish me for not wanting to waste my gas. Whoever runs this business needs to give this jerk a course on customer service or pay for better staff.
What’s up with the drive-thru cashier asking if I wanna leave a tip when they just swiped my card. I haven’t even tasted my smoothie yet to justify a tip.
I do not recommend this location. They give you the wrong size when you order and pay for a larger size, they don’t blend the smoothie completely (large chunks which makes them hard to drink), location is randomly closed even when you place an online order. Very unprofessional. Very disappointed.
I swear, nobody works here. They never answer the drive thru, and the door is always locked. There shouldn't be an option to order online from them if they're basically always closed. How are they even still in business? No matter the hour, this happens.
Well the staff is always very friendly, but that is the only good thing I can say about my visit today. I usually visit once a week in the summer but less once it's too cold to take my lunch break outside, so I haven't been by in about a month. Something must have happened in the past month, because suddenly the reviews have all dropped to 1 star.I got my favorite smoothie, which I have ordered here many times. It was absolutely flavorless. It tasted like nothing. I paid $8 to drink textured nothing. I can't even figure it out. The smoothie was the right color, so something must have been added to milk and ice, but there was no flavor at all.I'm disappointed because Smoothie King always has signage up about fresh, natural, better-for-you ingredients. Did they change their formula suddenly? Are we no longer using natural ingredients and using flavor powder instead? Because nothing about this tasted like "natural ingredients."I guess I'm not visiting this location again. I'm going to check the recent reviews for other locations, but if they're all bad then I guess Smoothie King is a bust.
When I am helped at this location I am greeted at the drive thru with a flat "What can I get you?" No hello or how are you. I usually come not long after opening and either wait a couple minutes to be helped or I am not acknowledged at all and I end up just leaving. One time I waited to be helped and after no acknowledgement I left and could see the one employee working sitting on the outside patio looking at her phone and smoking a cigarette. The only reason I gave this 2 stars is because when I do manage to order a smoothie it tastes great. Staff needs to learn some manners in customer service.
I walked in no one greeted me I stood at the counter to be helped. What I thought was a customer sitting in a chair by the entrance was an employee. She finally walked behind the counter to help & didn’t know what she was doing. She asked a guy to come over to assist I had to ask them to turn down the music because I couldn’t hear, they were BLASTING Emenim. I can’t make this up. I get my smoothie & it wasn’t in its usual Smoothie King cup. I will NOT be returning!
