Shake Shack was the first stop on our trip to St Louis. The Whole neighborhood is a food and restaurant orientated. When we got into Shake Shack, there was a line but it moved pretty fast. The staff was very polite, friendly and helpful. The food was all really good. the fries were crispy on the out side and creamy in the middle, like they should be! It was a little more expensive, but this is not your typical fast food burger joint.
I heard so many mixed options on Shake Shack that I stopped in today with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised! The burger patties were decent size, much bigger than the tiny smash burgers around town, and they were juicy and excellent flavor overall. I had a double cheeseburger for just under $10.
Menu looked really good, but I only wanted something sweet after a nice dinner. All on the menu were rather large portions.

☀️☀️ Wow!!! I am legitimately blown away at the unbelievably delicious burger I just had here. I had the mound city double and cheese fries,, I will admit the $20 dollar price tag seemed steep.. the 20 minute wait felt like a longer wait than I thought it should take, and to be 100% candid, without a doubt those couple of complaints were swiftly whisked away with a tsunami wave of deliciousness!! The bread was perfectly fresh, the 2 patties of meat were cooked perfectly and seasoned by a God! The cheese and Apple-wood smoked bacon complemented everything so well, I'd go as far as to say this was the best burger I've ever had! 10 out of 10 highly recommend! ☀️☀️
Really busy, the staff was very efficient and pleasant. Clean establishment and tasty food! Love the fries!
Double was $9 and single was $6 with no fries or drink. Burger was salty. Crinkle cut fries not my favorite. Shakes were very thick. The restaurant was clean but service took a while. Overall not bad but I had higher expectations. They do serve alcohol.
The food is okay. It's pretty fast, and I like a crispy burger, but you can get better shakes and fries at Steak N Shake. The staff is great, though. A+ friendliness and customer service
