We went here after being recommended to us. It is an okay wine place. The selection is okay, nothing crazy. The food selection is lacking. The menu online does not match what they offer in-store. Way fewer actual options. It is a good option for happy hour or a quick wine stop, but wouldn't recommend for eating.
Went for lunch with 4 other people. The place is on DeMun Just over the county line in Clayton. The service was very good and the food excellent. The waitress/bartender was great. The menu featured crepes sandwiches and flatbread pizzas. The wine list was a diverse selection of wines. Beer (in cans) and cocktails are also available.
I met a friend here for a glass of wine before heading to dinner nearby. The wine was fine. The setting (a rooftop patio) was also fine, although fairly spartan. The service was atrocious. Wine was dropped-off and we never saw a server again. To get the bill, I had to leave the table and actually go find the server. To pay the bill, she requested that I follow her inside to pay so that she didn't have to walk all the way to the table. For relatively expensive glasses of wine, the service experience should be better. Many better places to get a glass of wine in St. Louis.
Great spot for wine and crepes. We stop in while visiting St Louis. It was delightful ?. Indoor sitting and lots of outdoor sitting as well. Sasha's also has many items besides crepes. Enjoyable and fun!
Sasha's is a staple of St. Louis! One of the best patios with a great selection of wines of all varieties. Definitely recommend the cheese plates if you're coming in for a happy hour wine.
Let me start by saying I rarely leave reviews, especially bad reviews..We went to Sasha‘s because we had heard it was good but were very sadly disappointed. The service was TERRIBLE! I could give you three paragraphs of the details but will spare you. Something is really wrong with this place.
Nice food and drinks. Had tomato bisque and crab cake for lunch. Both were very good bisque maybe a little salty. Crab cakes like the menu says “ more crab less cake”- very good. Service and ambience laidback/ pleasant. Location and neighborhood is very nice. Park across to road nice place to walk off some calories before or after nice meal.
Great social spot. Fun environment with a very substantial wine list. They offer a small menu but we didn’t try any of the food while here as we had just eaten before going. It looked and smelled amazing from what we could see from the tables around us. They have live music on some nights, as well.
Love the service and the atmosphere
I’ve been a regular at Sasha’s for many years. I just unfortunately had a terrible experience. I tried to sit at the bar which is first come, first serve. The waiter, Bob, asked us to leave for trying to sit in bar seats without waiting to ask him. After many years of great service, I’m beyond disappointed with the experience. Would not recommend
