I really enjoyed the food from Sameem. I can all the way from New Jersey and was surprised to find Halal restaurants in St.Louis. All of their items were amazing and the Mantoo was on point. I would definitely recommend this place to other people.

Very authentic afghan food. Delicious boolani and the muntoo is extremely tasty! The server was kind and courteous. The only complaint I have is that the bathroom was rather small and out of paper towels the whole night. I will definitely be going there again!

This review is for the Kolkata based bengalis in US:This biriyani is the closest match to our Kolkata biriyani in terms of aroma and flavor. The mutton is also just like our Kolkata biriyani's mutton. This one tastes even better than Aladin's (LA) biriyani but the negative points are:1. It does not come with our favorite alu (potato)2. It has green peas and cheakpeas in the rice.3. They serve this with a Naan and a potato curry (I asked them not to add those...)Their rice pudding tastes somewhat like our firni...❤Anyway, another good reason for me to like St.Louis...

One of the best restaurants I ate in my life in America. I highly recommend this restaurant

I’ve come here around once a year since 2017! It’s been very yummy each time. I mostly go here to satisfy my Indian food cravings, but I’ve also experimented with some of the things on the menu that I’m less familiar with, and everything has been good. The naan is not my favorite though, but I don’t always expect a restaurant to wow me on the bread. The service is nice and I think it’s family owned. It’s a bit informal and a bit odd honestly, but I’m content with it and I’ll continue to come here in person and for takeout.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Saint Louis, I love it so much that I go at least once a week. I recommend the chicken tikka masala or SLU special if you’re craving red meat because it does come with a kebab! This is a small family owned restaurant, not very fancy inside but the food is amazing! It’s always fresh, tender and authentic. Highly recommend.

Very informal place with Interiors and washrooms not too clean. The place is not very shiny or tidy. It looks like a hood. At least I won’t go with my date. However, the food was good. They served the food in disposable plates and cutleries. While eating my fork broke! Thanks God, I didn’t eat the plastic. I ordered grilled chicken afgani. It came with rice ( buttered?) and a tiny slice of nan, and some aloo- matar ( a spicy curry with potato and peas). The man was not very good. I think that’s not made in house, rather store brought ( bulk pita/ Naan from big groceries). My friends ordered spicy ground beef kabobs,, aka kubideh. That was the best. Overall, the food was filling, and pretty decent, especially the kubideh kabab.

Very tasty and well-made food. I had never had Afghani food and branched out with the meal and appetizer and was definitely fulfilled. There are some more affordable items on the menu and some that are higher up in price, almost $20/meal, pay at the counter, and had leftovers enough for a second meal. Water was in a water bottle and it was quiet when my friend and I went.

We tried this Afghani restaurant. It is near downtown and it is small place. Dining area was upstairs. Not a lot of people or customers there and only very few workers. But the Afghani food was delicious. We ordered lamb entree and it came with rice. The portion was large and meat was soft, juicy and tasted very good. Highly recommended. We were looking for Halal meat place and they have it.

I liked the food, kabobs could be better.
