We were strolling around downtown St. Louis near Busch Stadium when we stumbled upon this fantastic place. It is simply the BEST BBQ that my wife and I have ever had. We tried both the Pulled Pork sandwich and the Brisket sandwich. Both were excellent! We also got the Pit Beans w/ smoked bacon and that was delicious too. The restaurant is next door to Busch Stadium so it's a perfect pre or post game meal. Highly recommend!!!
This place is awesome! Highly suggest it! I had the jalapeño bologna sandwich and my husband had the ribs. Everything was absolutely delicious! And the staff were great too!
1st time here! We came early before to game to try this place out. We came on a Tuesday around 5 pm and was seated immediately. There was still tons of seats left. Our server was good. Our food was good. Definitely a little pricey compared to other BBQ places but you get your money worth in food quantity. They have ski brand drinks.
Kale crunch salad was one of the best restaurant salads I've had. Great combo of veggies, dried apricot, goat cheese with a tangy vinegarette. This is a very good vegetarian option. I did add pulled pork to the half size salad and couldn't finish it all! Fries were also very tasty!
Great food. Something different and a great atomsphere. Awesome area next to Busch Stadium. Our server, Jamison was top notch and was very attentive. If you looking for a new adventure. This place will not disappoint. Enjoy.
Great place for smoked meats and fish. Very delicious, that during my stay in the city I dined here twice. The service was great too. Nice decor, spacious and clean. The smell of the smoker makes things even more delicious.
Having dinner here was for me an introduction to american barbecue. Food was amazing, absolutely perfect. Best fries I have ever had!For the first time ever I tried fried pickles and I wish I had them again :)
Wow this is so much food! We ordered the hush puppies and maple butter appetizer. All of us got the 1/2 rack of ribs and some sides.The food came out quickly. Ribs fell apart in your fingers. Did I mention the Mac & cheese? Wow…amazing!As full as we were, we still ordered dessert. One of the good things about living downtown is we get a 1/2 mile to walk home to help settle all the food eaten.Come hungry and still expect to take food home!
I’ve never heard of “trashed” wings. They are smoked, cooked, dipped, fried or something like that. But, anyway I love crunchy food and trashed wings are tender and crunchy! Great beer selection, bourbon and drinks. Solid service and great location next to Busch Stadium. Great area to kick around in.
The smell attracted us to the restaurant before we got there. We got the smoked hot wings they were so good, they had a distinctsmoke flavor with a hot sauce on it that was great!! I don't eat bread so I got the briscut sandwich without bread, I got burnt ends and fries. Both were very good! I tried the Mac and cheese, that was really great, no complaint on any of the food. The waitress was great and kept our drinks full.
