Where to start? Impressive, astounded and truly pleased. Absolutely freaking phenomenal and awesome. For the appetizer I had the Vindaloo- which totally made a great first impression towards an upcoming meal. I had the chicken Tikka Masala, which was the best ever and so tasty. Then dessert was the Rasgulla. Dessert was the absolute best way to finish this unique authentic lunch. Also the server was phenomenal, friendly, welcoming. The environment was really clean and atmosphere was legitimately welcoming. I will be back after this first time visit! Also big on family owned businesses. Please; tell me you are. Because the staff was all amazing!!!!!! This is an amazing five star ? ? ? ? ? restaurant with very affordable and delicious items.

Went twice within a few days on a recent trip it was heavenly. I said multiple times that I wanted to live at this restaurant. From the samosas to the kadhai lamb that was cooked to perfection and the lassi (drinks), it was all incredible. The chef was wonderful, the wait staff was so nice and helpful, it was all such a great experience in every way! I wish I could give more than 5 stars.

We got there late after a long day and it was absolutely divine. Best biryani I've had in ages and my friends lamb absolutely melted in our mouths. The samosas are fantastic as well and I just can't say enough things about this amazing food, thank you so much for making our evening wonderful.

Great service and even greater food. I ordered the Rogan Josh Extra Hot. This is the first Indian restaurant in the area that actually gave me EXTRA HOT! Loved it!!! Will be back again soon!

Fav indian restaurant. We drive 20 miles to eat here once a week. The staff is friendly-the african guy who usher us in is so polite. The owner and the server are pleasant and the restaurant is clean and they serve great food.

This is my favorite Indian restaurant in St. Louis! I now live in LA and I have not found a place I love more than Saffron in the whole country. It’s just the best. The mushroom saag is my favorite :)

Saffron has been my favorite restaurant for at least a decade now. I’m from the South, so trust me when I say that my restaurant choices are serious business! Saffron was not my first taste of Indian cuisine, and it was until I went to Saffron that I thought I wasn’t a huge of a fan (I liked what I tried, but it didn’t make me want to go back). The food here made me go back over and over, it is DELICIOUS. I’ve brought in and sent so many people to try their food, and every. single. person goes back. Like me, some of those people thought they wouldn’t like the food that much based on previous experience, but now they are enthusiastic lovers of Saffron. So, the food is amazing, and the people who work their are absolutely lovely. Polite, attentive, helpful, and so kind. If you’re wondering if you should give Saffron a try, the answer is “YES,” and it’s time to get yourself over there for a meal you’ll go back for. My personal recommendations are the chicken tikka masala and palak paneer with some garlic naan. YUM!

My wife and I love Saffron, but today we tried to order and were told that we were ordering wrong. We decided not to continue our order tonight because the man taking our order was so rude which is a shame because the food is deliciousEdit: I tried ordering garlic naan first only to be told I was not supposed to order bread first and that I had to order the mains first. We have called in orders to Saffron about 10 times before and the sequence I order food in has never been an issue before. Then after being interrupted again to say we were ordering incorrectly, we asked him to clarify the difference between the Tikka and Tikka Masala so we made sure we were ordering the right thing. We were told that we were going to order the wrong thing and how it wasn't going to be his fault. There is a difference between being helpful and cutting off a customer and telling them they are ordering food the wrong way. Saffron is our favorite Indian food in the area, but the interaction tonight has me reconsidering if it will continue to be our go to Indian restaurant.

As soon as we entered (a group of 6) asked for reservation which we didn’t know since it’s our first time and started acting like we are not welcome. Turned out you don’t need any reservations!! And we ordered 4 entrees each coms with rice and they only brought plates of rice and when finished all the rice and asked for more the bald man start saying that he should charge me for more rice even though we only got 2 instead of four. And when I told him we were only served 2 he started talking about inflation and all prices going up!!! On a rice bowl!!! Very unpleasant wouldn’t try again.

Good food but the customer service was not the best, the guy with the beard and the young guy were good but the old man with no beard was very rude ! We ordered four meals with each meal comes a plate of rice, they only gave us 2 and refilled one time which makes it three so we asked for the last refill and he said we gonna have to charge you for it ! And they were very rude when we entered, not going there again !
