I get the prosperity hold the garlic butter it’s $1.75 cheaper than ordering the roast beef and cheese with gravy . Get a side of gravy it’s amazing like grandma used to make ! So good best roast beef and gravy I have ever had !
Based on the reviews, we made it a point to stop here for a meal. As the other reviews go, the food was very good! The restaurant was clean. Wait time was fine. The service is the only area where they are lacking. A group of 5, we wanted to order and share 5 different choices in order to get the full experience-and we told them this. We received 5 sandwiches. We asked for more plates and possibly a knife to cut the sandwiches (we were given 3 plates originally), we were told that is how they are served and that there were plastic knives only. I thought it was crazy that they could not part with a few more paper plates or let us borrow a real knife to cut our sandwiches.
Been eating to Ruma's for almost 50 years. I love the hot sandwiches (Gerber & Prosperity), and the super. The Rich Boy brings back memories 'cause that's what mom & dad would order for us when we were kids.
Food is great but pricey. 13.00 for a prosperity now. I guess you can thank our President for the rising cost.

My Coworker boasted on this place so I decided to place an order. I was SO DISAPPOINTED, it was the most bland sandwich I've ever had to be a roast beef sandwich. It was suppose to be a hot sandwich and it wasn't even warm. The sandwich had a piece of hair inside the wrapper, that I noticed AFTER having a few bites. I called NOT to ask for my money back or even to replace my sandwich. I simply called to inform the Manager of the situation so they'd be more Careful and all she said when I told her was, "OH". I said, well an apology would be fine, I'm not asking for anything but I think an apology should be given. Customer Service was not Present this day, Needless to say that I will not be going there Again.
Love rumas! Have been going here for years. They have the best sandwiches, pasta, and salads! My favorite are the Gerber and Prosperity. The workers are always very friendly and give great customer service. If I could give 100 stars I would!!
the pasta was way too soft and the sauce was super watery. it did not taste right no mater how much i stirred up the pasta it did not stick to my pasta. there was also ants on the table.
I'm not impress with the food or service. Waited almost an hour for 3 sandwiches, couldn't understand why because 6 people in back, go figure. Won't return.
Not the Ruma's we remembered from years past. Sandwich was nothing special sadly, we need more good sandwich places in SoCo. They were out of corn beef on a Friday night. ? As we waited for our take out order we noticed place looked run down, needs updating.
