I walked past a few times without noticing it, but once we went in and had some of the tacos, we were in love. Truly excellent. The seasoning they sell, that comes on their popcorn, is amazing as well.
Be prepared to eat like it's your first time, ordered 3 different tacos all where amazing, I didn't know what to expect from the Mexican pizza but what I got was a top tier recreation of the classic that taco bell turned their back on, chef will was the hero we needed at this the darkest of mexican pizza day. This thing was amazing and WHY IS NO ONE SPEAKING ON THE POPCORN FOR THE LOVE OF GOD SSOOOO GOOD. try to stop me from coming back....

The best I ever had hands down. The chorizo taco were Dynamite. the Mexican pizza awesome tamales was super. it's not too many places that I eat out at that I'll say I'll be back. this place I'll be back.

I love this place! They were a taco shack in New Town in St Charles and I would go a few times a week before they moved and opened this restaurant in Soulard. Definitely worth the trek from St Charles. I had a traditional margarita to drink which was great. We were served complimentary popcorn which was so good. We also got guacamole which was to die for. I also really liked the tortilla chips with it because they were so thin and crunchy and had the rock star seasoning on them. I got the hot for pizza which is an extremely elevated version of the Mexican pizza from taco bell, and was absolutely amazing. I also had the street corn and the shrimp taco which were some of the best I've ever had. Our server was Courtney and she was so nice and friendly. I hope Courtney is my server when I come back because I definitely will be coming back. We also got the rock star dust in a spice jar to take home and use because that stuff is amazing!
The food is incredible! Mexican pizza and green chile tamales were amazing and the chicken tacos are my favorite. Friendly, fast service with a welcoming atmosphere. Best tacos in STL!
