Food is decent , little pricey but good vibe

So glad that this was the first place I chose for breakfast for my weekend in St. Louis. Excellent sweet matcha latte and stellar avocado toast topped with a poached egg and plated so pretty with a cute cucumber heart ?Thinking I'll be stopping in again before the weekend is out.

I am a teacher at the local elementary school around the corner. I visit rise often, it’s my favorite. If I’m having a bad day, I walk to get my favorite iced vanilla latte with oatmilk; just the atmosphere calms me and fills my soul with happiness. The staff are always warm and kind and are always going the extra mile. I can always count on being greeted with a smile. Thank you for creating a safe and tranquil place for me to calm my mind in the chaos of what being a teacher is these days. Ricotta toast is bomb AF too!

Wow !! We are absolutely blown away by this place. We woke up early, tired from a late night and drove over to rise for a coffee. Little did we know, it also had amazing food and 10/10 ambiance. The baristas and cooks were all singing and exuding joy. The matcha latte was amazing. The vibe was warm and welcoming. Everything is compostable and sustainable. What more could you ask for!

Very cute coffee shop. A bit busy on Sunday morning but they are quick with serving the coffee drinks. Cappuccino was right on the money.

I love this community minded coffee shop so much. I love even more that they are making the difficult but wise choices to keep customers and themselves safe during covid. I cannot wait to stop by their window to order my favorite lavender latte again.

One of my 2 favorite coffee shops in the city. Probably my favorite because the baristas make me feel welcome. Signs and slogans encouraging humanistic ideals and well being. The chocolate chip cookies with sea salt really brighten my day. Outdoor seating is really, really good. Great spot for coffee/sweets with friends/family

For people seeking coffee -- wonderful, wonderful lattes, cold brew, traditional drip, and they also take their tea very seriously. (This is not a place where you get a paper cup of hot water and a tea bag -- we're talking tea pots, people.)Their optional syrups are lovely, think ube, orange mocha, lavender, and they are quick to suggest a favorite to suit your taste and beverage. For people seeking food -- Their yogurt and granola is my go-to: a generous portion of yogurt whipped with raspberry jam and topped with the BEST GRANOLA EVER! (P.S. Rise, can you sell this in a bag?). I often leave with a ginger cookie, but there are other treats available (muffins, scones, including gluten free options). We frequently order the kids pancakes because they're cute and come with fruit, but I imagine the full size ones are equally delicious. I order them for myself even when my child isn't around.... :)Other things to keep an eye out for -- merchandise is absolutely gorgeous to peruse while you stand in line. "My Body, My Home" is practically my bible and I've bought 3-4 copies of this book for myself and for loved ones. Pins celebrating pronouns, totes with one of a kind illustrations, and bags of coffee are available for friends near and far. The front cooler is full of cold drinks for every need -- CBD seltzer, surprisingly delicious non-alcoholic beer, local chocolate and strawberry milk, confluence kombucha, and some alcoholic options like beer and sparkling wines if it's that kind of party. For people seeking community -- I stumbled into this spot because I moved up the street and typed "coffee" into my phone. There is an instant community here. The first Saturday morning I came by, I thought, "OH! This is where all the babies are!". I started bringing my one year old to play on the patio where there is a sand box and digging tools. You can pre-pay for a coffee, breakfast or treat and stick it on the board for someone who needs it later. The music selection is BANGING! They started a fantasy football league this year that I really enjoyed. You will start to be greeted and recognized by their lovely staff based only on the eyes behind your mask. A special thing for me is that I feel seen at Rise, and I hope you will, too!A friend who I've introduced to Rise said they have the community and atmosphere of a restorative yoga retreat. We recommend stopping in for coffee or joy or both. Thank you, friends! Cheering for you!

Friendly, comforting space with plenty of seating and outlets if you want to linger and work. The food and coffee are great too. My new favorite place to study! Cannot recommend enough.

I ordered the iced mocha and it was very good. Also had eggs and toast, it was a great value and tasted great.
