One of the last true Jewish Delicatessens in St. Louis. Stellar pastrami and corned beef and an excellent selection of pastries and baked goods (the cinnamon Babka is fantastic).Nice niche selection of sodas, chips, condiments and other deli items for sale as well. Seating is limited (outside area is nice when the weather cooperates) but worth picking up even if you don’t have the time to stay and eat. I won’t go to any other deli.

I eat here at least once a week and have yet to try something I didn't absolutely love. If you're unsure what to get, try the Reuben; it's hands down the best in the city.

Great NY style deli. Eye of Round roast beef is some of the best I have had in STL.

First the service is over the top ?...deli with history.. service with a smile ?.... fantastic flavors and cozy atmosphere...the young gentleman who waited on us was very professional and performed magic with the corned beef and pastrami sandwich ?... Food rating is "Straight Smakin"... Definitely not going to be disappointed...trip from Champaign to St Louis became so special stopping here...next trip will be back...can feel the love in every bite... sandwich was Killa!!!

Only place in town for real Jewish deli foods. Great matzo hall soup! (The photo is from Passover - one of their busiest days of the year. Not usually that busy.)

Best Knish around! I drive from Wildwood in West County to get these. Also great Corned Beef and Pastrami sandwiches, a lot for the money. Not really a in house type eating place, small but food is outstanding.

We had the corned beef and pastrami reuben and the Rachel (turkey reuben). Both excellent! The rye was crisp and everything was fresh off the grill. The owner was there and what a great man! Will definitely be back.

Absolutely love this place. Great items and prices ?

Just passing thru Brentwood and needed lunch. This was the best Reuben I’ve had since living in Philly. A little pricey but we’ll worth it

Was a bit disappointed. I had the Reuben and creamy cole slaw, the corned beef was chewy, not tender but the slaw was good. The knishes were great!
