They are beyond rude . I used to enjoy coming here because the service used to be decent but now it's completely ghetto. Was put on hold and then hung up on.... I called back and was told we're busy. I guess this is the excuse to hang up on a customer? never again what I come there and me and my mother been coming there for years. I work in the food and beverage industry and I get it you do be busy but we don't never hang up on paying customers.
Their food used to be so good. I used to come here years ago..I purchased tripe, it was cooked hard and no flavor. You get 4 potato wedges and they were not of flavor....4 wedges? Wow, prices have gone up and food is not good at all! I'm so disappointed and you used to get so much tripe, enough to make another sandwich, which is the reason I didn't mind spending $8 for the sandwich. But 4 wedges?Really? Never again. Get that old crew back...please. Potnars lost their touch.
0 STARS THE FOOD WAS HORRIBLE. I HAD RIB TIPS (THEY WERE GOOD BUT SALTY), GREENS MAC & CHEESE CORNBREAD. THE GREENS WERE FROM A CAN, THE MEAT IN THEM WAS OLD, MAC WAS DRY AND JIFFY BREAD WAS DOUGHY. LOOK LIKE SALT MUST HAVE BEEN RAINING FROM THE CIELING. WORST TAKE OUT EXPERIENCE EVER. I HAVE EATEN CHICKEN, TRIPE AND FISH THERE THAT WAS GREAT!
Really good soul food I usually get the tripe it's as close to grandma's cooking you'll get

We had the fried catfish, it was cooked well. We also had the crispy chicken salad and that was my favorite.It's plenty of food for a good price.
The server wasn't friendly at all and he was rude. The food was alright not the best are worse
