This particular location is able to keep up with their orders pretty well I was able to get an order and a little under 10 minutes. And it looks like they've been at least trying to improve their interior a little although the walls could still use a Fresh coat of paint and dust could still be removed from a few places. The doors definitely need to be redone Rehan. Other than that as far as food goes I can't really say because I've always picked up for friends and family at this location I haven't actually eaten anything from this location myself I have however had it from the Northside of St Louis where there is another location.I will add to this review that my one big complaint is that they do not yet at least that I did not see. They do not have a functional online ordering system yet. Online ordering is not very complex to Institute and can be done without much to any technical knowledge and I've seen many other restaurants very successfully turn it on in cooperation sometimes with a third party. When we tried calling in the phone went directly to fax. And this was the official number listed by Google online for this restaurant location. It was also the number we had saved for this location. So at the very least if they're going to mess up their phone systems they should have an online ordering system up and running. And I can tell you from experience with a Chinese shop that's a little closer to home they have a really basic third party system up and running and it runs great and I think they probably seen their business only multiply through it in fact I recommend everybody to place their orders online before coming it just helps to keep everything organized and it makes ordering so much easier.
FOOD POISONING: Honestly I wish I could give this zero stars. 3 other coworkers and myself in our office ordered food back on April 27th and within 30 minutes a coworker ran to the bathroom puking then, another one, then my boss and lastly me. Food poisoning took out the entire front office at my job for the rest of the day. We each got a chicken dish, 3 of us had fried rice and all of us had an egg roll. I have never been so sick in my life and almost 2 weeks later and We all still don’t feel the same. By the looks of other reviews other people got sick too. Please be aware!!! Also turns out this place was inspected the day we ordered and all got sick.
Ordered from there last night. Pot stickers, spring rolls, and a sweet and sour chicken combo plate. When I went to eat my pot stickers, I found a live roach crawling in the styrofoam box. Wife went in to get my money back. She says that there wasn't a hassle getting my money back. Very disappointed and disgusted.
We ordered takeout. We ordered $90 worth of food. We get back to our hotel. They gave us no utensils and 2 packets of soy sauce, 3 packets of sweet sauce for a $90 order. The food was bland. The egg rolls were those small spring roll types for the freeze section of the grocery store. Absolutely terrible
Disgusting !!!! ?? wouldn’t recommendHad it last night and so disappointingI’ll never go back. The sweet and sour chicken was mushy and had only acouple pieces of chicken the rice was plain with no flavor. My husband had general tos chicken and it had no flavor as well I asked for crabagoon and they gave me an egg roll?My dinner was ruined
We ordered general tso’s chicken, fried shrimp, crab rangoon, and the veggie egg rolls through DoorDash. They had the order ready quickly. The general tso’s chicken was pretty good. It had mushrooms, carrots, and bamboo shoots in it, which I liked, but not everyone would. Normally it has broccoli, so that would have been a nice addition. It came with half the amount of rice most takeout restaurants send with that entree. The crab rangoon had a good balance of sweetness, but were a little under filled. The veggie egg rolls were tasty. They come in an order of four and each one is about 2 inches long. The fried shrimp wasn’t like anything I’ve seen before. They were coated in a thick layer of breading that was almost like a savory donut. Kind of tasted like a hush puppy. I’d say it was 1/3 shrimp, 2/3 breading. I’m not picky, so I thought it still tasted good, but it’s not what you expect when you order fried shrimp. Overall satisfied. It filled our late night craving. I’d give it 3.5 stars.
There is often a lengthy wait, but that is simply because their food is so delicious. They need more locations! The staff always greets me warmly. They are wonderfully hard working people, never idle. I'm certain every customer is thrilled to receive hot food from a restaurant they love.
Wish I could give zero stars. Found a small roach in the egg drop soup and threw the entire order away. The St. Paul looked soggy and overcooked. Won’t be going here again.
Best cheap Americanized Chinese food I've been able to find in STL. Way better than anywhere else within 5 miles (I've tried them all). I've been going here pretty much once a week for over a year and the food's always good and they are nice enough. Never had a bad experience here so not sure what these other people are on about. The egg rolls are killer! Just make sure you check your bag before you leave because sometimes things have been left out. Have also downsized their white rice that comes with things so if you like a lot order an extra side. And it's CASH ONLY!
Nice people, food was hot but my vegan fried rice had EGG in it I'm sad
