We decided to try something new tonight. I love how they remodeled this location from what was here before. The staff was great and very friendly but the food was just average.My brisket but ends were good but everything else was just bland. The brown sugar carrots need to be super sweet and swimming in almost a sweet buttery sauce. You could barely tell they were brown sugar. The maple bacon green beans looked amazing but really had no flavor.I really wanted to like this place but I don't know if we will be going back.
Sadly only serving apps and pizza TWO hours before closing. We called to make sure the full kitchen would be open and were told yes it would be open. We get to the Telegraph location and walk in and were told only apps and pizza!!
Friday was my first time at Nubby’s and it was great. Had the pizza and the smoked turkey. Both were excellent. This is a unique restaurant that excelled with both the pizza and the bbq. Service was excellent.
Food is always great, as long as you show up during busy hours. This pictures was taken at 9:30pm on Tuesday- they say they are open till 11pm. We listened to a customer come in and only offered a pizza because the rest of the kitchen staff had left by 8pm.This place has such potential if they weren’t shutting the place down 4 hours before the business hours state they close.I would recommend but only if ur can’t get here by 6 for good service and and full menu.

Second trip there was a repeat of the first. Good but not earth shatteringly good. Fortunately for me I'm a person that likes even average barbecue. The reviews on this place are through the roof in some areas so I will still work my way through their menu looking for that gem. So far the monster pork steak was good, although half was super dry making sauce not an option. Last night was brisket, which was very good. The mac and cheese is a solid side, and the baked beans, while they tasted good we're done in a way that was not my preference.I know it doesn't sound like I've got much reason to rush back, but there is one huge reason, and that would be the staff! Whether it's the owner coming from behind to ask how everything was or the super helpful bartenders and servers, everyone was fantastic and welcoming.It's the rare thing that will make me drive to the end of telegraph and not moan about the traffic, and that's one of them,That's the kind of warm fuzzies that will make me not care about driving almost to the end of telegraph.So far we are in good but not great territory but since pizza is next on the list and theirs is apparently amazing I'm hoping to get to that soon.
First time eating there today. It was great. The pulled pork was tender and smoked just right. The baked beans were a mixture of three different kinds of beans. The maple bacon green beans were fantastic. I truly enjoyed my meal!
Love this place great bar @ family area dining room. Pastrami Sammich was delicious
Okay folks nice little family place wouldn't say that it was noise at all.enjoyed my meal which consisted of mild chicken wings and a loaded baked potato and a dr.pepper.now let me let you in on little-known secret they have a great selection of gluten free recipes. You gotta check this out. And with that I must say God bless you all.
We had a great experience! The pizza is the best St. Louis style around! The pork steak was huge and smokey and delicious! The prices were phenomenal and we loved the staff! Thank you Nubby's! Keep up the great work!
