This place was ok. Our server was good and the price was reasonable. We had 1 large pizza, 6 wings, 3 beers and the total was $48. The wings were decent but not great and we did not like the pizza at all. Maybe we hit them on a bad night, but the pizza was overdone and didn't taste good. It was a little dingy and smelled like they used to smoke in there.
Was very excited to go to an old time favorite bar with friends this evening. After ordering a drink on the patio we went upstairs to play pool and throw darts. The night ended and the same bar back in trainin (from the outside bar where my first and only drink was served) came upstairs demanding everyone to leave. I told him I was finding my friends and leaving. I was then sprayed with bleach cleaner and called a bad name. The manager told me that the owner cannot be contacted until the morning to review cameras.Needless to say .. enter at your own risk.
Love this place for dine in or delivery, always satisfied!Pros: Great food, tons of menu items, daily specials, karaoke, late hours, cold beer, plenty of seating.Cons: Parking; they have plenty of it but it's always full (good for business!).
Great food. Good service TWELVE large TV’s on the walls to watch sports. Over twenty beers on tap. We ate dinner there and it was pleasant. Only detraction was a smell of old mushrooms and smoke in the air.On Manchester in Saint Louis.
My in-laws were in town over the weekend and despite my wife trying to object because she thought it would be too busy with a crowd all in their 20s and to our surprise it wasn't like that.Shane made us feel very welcome as soon as we walked in the door and assured us we'd have a great time, which we did.We found the rest of the staff friendly as well, her parents had a blast as did we.They are even wanting to go back one more time before they leave..Scoring points with in-laws = priceless !!
Best pub in all of St. Louis! Food is amazing (especially the lunch specials), there’s an insane amount of beers on tap, and the staff was the best, especially Teddy!Great place to visit! It’s the perfect mix of a pub and sports bar!
Nick’s pub has an incredible selection of craft beers on draft. There is definitely something for everyone. And the service is fantastic! It’s by far my favorite place to come to in St. Louis City!
Nick’s is a piece of my home, it is absolutely one of my first stops whenever I am visiting the St. Louis area. The food is amazing and the ambiance is as close to defining the perfect pub atmosphere.
I can't speak to the "pub" part (except to say the bar was fully stocked with interesting wares) but these guys were nice enough to take a food order 5 min before kitchen close. I would normally never, but the bartender was so cool about it and definitely saved the day.Food was solid bar burgers and hefty portions.Inside seems welcoming, and cozy/spacious, laid back atmosphere.Thanks again guys!
Had one pint of craft beer served on tap. Selection of tap beer is outstanding. Wish I could have had more! Pizza was good, better than average pub quality. Sauce was distinctly sweet and good oregano overtone. Nice place to meet friends. Place is bigger than it looks when entering the front door - whole back area doubles the pub size. Did not strike me as a true Irish pub.
