I hate to talk badly about black-owned businesses. But there’s no way someone’s mama kitchen smells or looks like this. This place stinks so bad and the food looks gross. The prices and the menu aren’t posted. Unless you want remember the street sign… The food isn’t labeled. There’s no order or quality or cleanliness established here. The portions are small too for the price you pay. I won’t be back.

I wish I could rate this restaurant 10 stars!! The food was fresh and so delicious. Especially the spaghetti. Plenty of drink options. Also there were plenty of areas to sit and the tables were kept clean. I really enjoyed looking at the portraits on the wall as I made my way down the counter. Everyone was very friendly and I loved the cobbler samplers they were handing out. Can’t wait to return! :)

Really disappointed, my dad and grandma make the best soul food but live out of town. Was hoping for some comfort food but we ordered the meatloaf and bbq pork steak and both were not great… the meatloaf had no ketchup like the pics, and the pork steak had no bbq. They were both covered in this gravy that wasn’t great. The mac and cheese had a great texture but the taste was very off like it needed more seasoning. Collard greens, prices, and portion sizes are nothing to complain about!

Love this food always enough to get you nice and full for a good price.

Being from Alabama I was looking forward to some good soul food... Whew was we disappointed. At first we was ok with the price being $40.58 for 2 plates. Each plate included 1 meat and 2 vegetables. The food was definitely not worth the price. The turkey leg was dry as a powder house and the ribs tips was like rubber. I was so hurt considering the money we spent???

The food I received was plentiful, large servings. The food I received had tasty down home flavor. The only reason I gave you 3 stars, is because I would have enjoyed eating the food I had ordered even more, would have given you 5 stars...

It is outright shameful that this restaurant chain with so much potential is not being run properly. The original recipes of Mom's Kitchen are excellent and they are being running to the ground by a less than mediocre staff. The food itself definitely didn't make the grade. The staff appeared to be "in training" but it could have actually been that no procedures were in place. We visited to speak with management concerning rental of their banquet facility, upon referral of his wife. He wasn't there (surprise) and he never contacted us from the information we left. THEY DON'T WANT OUR MONEY???

I had the brisket she gave me all fat and it was terrible ?the cabbage tasted spoiled ?the macaroni was ok but need better cheese and the rib tips was ok but hard! I don’t recommend them unless they change their cooks!

I cannot, with good conscience, give this food anything but a 1. The smell was rancid. everything was sour. The only thing that didn't smell terrible was the dressing, and I got no gravy with it. who eats dry dressing? All in all a wasted 40 dollars because it's sitting in the trash. each container is full.

Who ever cooked the food today did not do a good job the meatloaf did not taste right dressing is high blood pressure and the macaroni was horrible I just threw it all away
