Excellent sweet and savory menu options and food presentation. Flavor quality 10/10. Not too busy. Cute indoor and (mostly) outdoor spaces. I had the mushroom pâté. Tasted great.
Milque Toast is an incredible gem in the St. Louis city food community. They use in season produce and ingredients so the menu changes depending on the season but we have never gotten anything that wasn't amazing no matter what we order. The people who work here are always friendly and welcoming. It makes for an incredibly comfortable, relaxing atmosphere. We've made it a ritual to come regularly and we have no regrets.
Amazing atmosphere, they make you feel right at home. Each plate combination is well complimented with each flavor. Don't leave without trying their Home made Cream Sodas ?? if we had discovered this place sooner we would of had all our meals here ?
Had a really nice lunch at this restaurant yesterday. I had never eaten there and didn't know they had a stage for music, too! The music had just ended when we got there, unfortunately as they had Sharon Bear and Eric McSpadden, two excellent local blues people playing from noon to 2:30. Well, next time. I had a curry egg salad and my wife had the fruit and cheese toast. We split a locally made tea as recommended by the server. The food tasted great, the day was beautiful and we could eat outside on the patio - very enjoyable overall. The tea was really tasty, too. It might have been just a little better to hear Sharon and Eric play, though. Next time I will get there earlier.I had always wanted to try Milque Toast Bar - my buddy from England stayed in an Air BnB next door and ate there several times - he said it was wonderful. What does he know, though? He's from the UK and the food over there the last time I was there was not great. Well, except for the curried eggs and rice I had for breakfast near Buckingham Palace. That was good.
Love this place! I don’t eat bread but they swap out the toast for greens! Coffee = great! Food = great! People = great! Also, it’s small, but there’s a cute outdoor patio when it’s nice outside and the decor is quirky and awesome!
This place is awesome. The staff was super friendly and the food was presented beautifully. The portions are generous for the price and I would highly recommend a visit here!
Food was immaculately presented, you can tell they put care into each dish. Cute little outdoor seating area, has live shows at times. Tasted good, not a big fan of the a thick toast, a true home style sourdough slice would have perfected it.
The food somehow tasted even better than it looked! I had a wonderful experience here and definitely plan to return.
Delicious! Such a cute little place. We got the Milque Toast and the Spicy Sausage Gravy Toast and they were both delicious. We’ll definitely be back to try the other items. Everything was plated beautifully. My only suggestion would be to mention on the menu that the Milque toast comes with walnuts for those with food allergies.
Impressive display with a quality taste and friendly people but it would be good if they included allergy warnings on menu items.
