Fantastic restaurant! Highly recommend the tomales!
We have been looking for authentic pupusas and this place did not disappoint! They were so good! Next time, we are going to order 10 of them!
Very limited vegetarian options. Food was good though. Although fried green plantains were on the menu they didn't have any.
I got a Baleada and a Pupusa. I felt that I was visiting a friend in a very cozy environment that reminds me home ???.The Pupusa was absolutely authentic and pretty tasty?? and the Baleada was delicious and very well done for this local place. Highly recommend for authentic Honduran and Central American food.
Ate some pupusas there a few months ago. Enjoyed them but not quite 5 star worthy. Will definitely return but want to try Fritanga first before I return because I hear they have good pupusas as well and I am really intrigued to see which are better. That said this restaurant has other foods I want to try including tamales, tacos, baleadas, and tostadas. Once I try these, my rating may adjust up or down.
Service was slow but food was worth the wait! Chicken in coconut sauce was delicious, as were the fried green bananas. Bean and cheese pupusa was perfection. Friend got the pork chop with eggs and it was great as well.
They made the original pupusas, authentic Centro American food, Salvador and Honduras. I recommend this restaurant.
It was a long four years without pupusas and tamales! So glad to have found some incredible ones locally. This was a huge amount of quality food for a fair price. I ordered through GrubHub, so I can't provide any input on the atmosphere or service, but I hope to check them out in person when I'm able.I had always had pupusas and tamales made by folks from El Salvador and didn't know whether these would be different. Most everything was the same--I think the salsa for the pupusas was a little thinner, but it was perfect for dunking the pupusas in. I loved the Honduran crema for the sweet corn tamales.I also had my first baleada, which was AMAZING! Savory beans, melty cheese, and a thick sort of tortilla. YUM.I wound up getting a solid four to five meals for my fifty dollars (including delivery fee and tip). I ordered 2 "tamalitos de elote" but each order comes with two tamales! So that's two meals. Then two bean and cheese pupusas, caramones de mantequilla, and the baleada. Days and days of delicious eating, and everything reheated well. I'll definitely be back!
Best takeout we’ve had in months! We got the carne asada dinner, pupusa de queso y frijoles, and a baleada regular. Everything was delicious and flavorful. Ordering was a little tricky but well worth the effort for the food. If you speak Spanish (or Spanglish) lead with that as it will make it easier.
We ordered takeout tonight, and got the #2 combo. Everything was absolutely delicious. I don’t know what’s taken us so long to try this place. It’s so close by, and we will definitely be repeat customers! The prices are incredibly reasonable, and the quality was top-notch.
