While visiting St. Louis we came across this place and decided to stop in. I'm so glad we did! The food was excellent and authentic. The house margarita was wonderful and the best I have had in quite awhile. The gentleman who served us was very friendly and stopped and checked on us frequently. We highly recommend this restaurant!
It was an hour after ordering before we got our food and it was lukewarm at best. The shrimp tacos tasted like they would be really good if they were hot. My 3 y/o son ordered a side of rice and it was really small, smaller than any other Mexican place I’ve ever been to (it was maybe 3/4 cup of rice for $4) and we had to buy him more food on the way home because he was still hungry and asking for more. I didn’t want to order him another side of rice and have it take an unknown length of time.
Excellent food! Christian the bartender was fantastic. You have to try this place! The food was authentic. Try to get in before the rush at 5.
Had a light dinner here. Carnitas street taco with a flour tortilla. Awesome. Of course had to have a Patron margarita which was good too. We loved their chips and salsa, fresh and tasty. Server was basically new but very friendly and efficient. I’d definitely go back.
It’s on the more expensive side but not without reason. The atmosphere is small but warm like an unsuspecting hug. The food takes time but the chip bowls are large. The food looked small but was big in heart. I was satisfied. I should also note the tostadas stayed together with every bite, them and the margaritas were beautifully made. I would recommend and return, though not often.
SO GOOD! The food was phenomenal and the service was even better! Jesus and Javier were so friendly and helpful, not to mention they make an awesome margarita. I got the pollo mas tequila and my brother got the beef burrito and we both absolutely loved our orders. Next time we're back in St. Louis, this is 1000% the place we'll go.
Our waitress was very friendly and the best there. I would return very soon. I love the atmosphere and the food was outstanding. If I wasn't driving, I wanted to have a margarita. Looked amazing!
this is a great place to go to love this place and they know to make you feel right at home shout out to the bar people as well great job you all see you all next time
I’ve visited this place 3 times in past year because quite frankly, the food is good. I cannot deny that. However, the service that I’ve received each time was not with my past visit being the worst. The server/bartender was slow and not and attentive to the needs of the table. The manager was rude and inattentive as well. Well, at least to the people that looked like me me. The place was far from crowded. I will not be returning. No matter how good the food is, I prefer to spend my money with people that offer great customer service and there are far better Mexican restaurants in the city.
