Was just okay. Food is okay. Atmosphere is loud and out dated, service was great. Don’t sit in basement if you are 6ft or taller. Everyone wad hitting their head on the ceiling.
The food was wonderful. We went at 7pm on a Saturday and had to wait about 99 minutes but it was worth the wait. We had toasted ravioli, spaghetti & meatball, & the penne a la vodka. All items were very tasty. The service was great.
This place was recommended to us by 2 different Lyft drivers, so we decided we better go. It was more than we expected. The food was so flavorful. I had the Eggplant Parmesan and it could have easily been shared with another person because it was so much food. My husband had the shrimp scampi and the shrimp were enormous and cooked to perfection. We shared the tiramisu for dessert and that poor little dessert didn't have a chance. It was love at first bite. Highly recommend this place!!!
You have to visit this restaurant when in St. Louis! The lasagna is the best I’ve ever had. The stuffed French loaf is an appetizer but could easily be a meal. The pizza is also excellent! Note that many Italian restaurants on the hill are closed Mondays but not Mama’s!
Went here on a recommendation from a friend. We were not disappointed. The toasted ravioli is their house special. It was great. The lobster ravioli was wonderful. The caesar salad with chicken was too much for the plate to support. The portions were huge and the service was great. We will be back.
This was the best place to have our anniversary dinner. Matt was a very attentive server. Food excellent. Be sure and order one of Tony’s house made desserts. Suggest getting reservations on weekends
So delicious! Best house salad EVER accompanied by my choice of fettuccine Alfredo. Absolutely loved this place & plan to return soon!
Fantastic food as well as fantastic service! Everything was cooked to perfection and the staff were just amazing! They treated you like family and were very personable. Highly recommend!
We were told we had to eat on The Hill. We chose Mama's based on their online menu. We enjoyed generous "small" salads and a plate of delicious toasted ravioli. Our waitress, Brie, was an absolute delight and recommended all sorts of other places we needed to see in St. Louis. If you're looking for authentic food and not a chain restaurant experience, this is the place to come. Park on the street in the surrounding neighborhood.
We loved this little place on the Hill. Food was excellent and the atmosphere was like being in someone's home for dinner.
