I was lucky enough to go to Majeed restaurant (I specify because there is also a Majeed grocery right near the restaurant) with my friends from the Middle East. I told them to order for me because I can easily fall into getting something that I always get.We had babaganoush, chicken and beef shawarma, lamb chops, fattoush salad, and a yogurt drink to wash it all down.Everything was delicious. The staff was very nice. They have a nice patio, hookahs, and the inside eating area is huge. It makes spacing out from other tables (covid distancing) very easy.10/10 Would recommend, Will go again!
I love the serviceDecoration is amazingFood is delicious ?Hummus Garlic sauce .Wow just wowI’m coming again here with my friends soon
The main course was beef/chicken. Not bad but not great and I've had good middle eastern food. Stingy with sauces and lemon. Stuff grape leaves were very good. Baklava was stale and dreadful.
Delicious food and great prices!Update as of 4/3/22: the restaurant has moved across the street, while the international store has stayed in the old restaurant location.I visited on a Sunday morning, around 11:30 am. There was a sign on the door saying they opened at 11 on Sundays, but one set of doors was open and the other locked. When I went in, there were no employees around, despite the lights being on and the sound of employees visiting in the back. The smoke alarm was also chirping loudly, indicating it needed its battery changed. One employee did appear but seemed rather annoyed that a customer had walked in, so I chose to leave.I've had great experiences at Majeed in the past, and I certainly hope to enjoy their food and service in the future. Maybe there was something going on Sunday that led to the employees being present but the shop not being technically open. That's all I can speculate.
food was so good :) the people are so friendly and the vibes are great in the restaurant. will be back many times :)
Relaxed ambiance. Friendly staff.I had shawarmah over flavored rice. You can definitely try. Then they just prepared fresh Khunafa Sweet. My kids love them
Great service. Humus was good, wife ordered chicken and beef that was good. I ordered Lamb kababs that were unfortunately very dry.
Are you passing through St. Louis, Missouri? STOP HERE!! We stopped here on a whim halfway through our drive. We almost just stopped here, road trip over. Food was AMAZING! Plate was set down and the aroma was mouthwatering. Service is friendly and recommended exactly what our taste buds needed. My wife and I had the medium pot of hot tea, vegetarian platter, mix grill entree, and leg of lamb. The lamb just falls off the bone and MELTS in your mouth. We never ran into a bite that wasn't fantastic. Even the spices in the rice are incredible. And the price very affordable for the portion size. We are getting both desserts to go because why miss out and we don't share these desserts with each other. You HAVE to stop here and try these folks, you won't regret it!!
1 star that I’m giving is because kibbeh was good. Leg of lamb and lentil soup was not good. I came here and was served by plastic fork and spoon. It’s funny. Customer service is a kid. I don’t blame him. If you run restaurant please put someone with experience on the customer service. After long day you want to enjoy your meal but unfortunately this kind of things ruin your appetite.
We were driving down Gravois today and happened upon this place. I’m so glad that we turned in. The food was great, the service was quick and very friendly atmosphere. We will certainly go again.
