We went to their Sunday night dining experience where you have a choice of two entrees. Both were excellent. The salad and soup courses were quite nice. I had the pork ribeye, and it was moist and flavorful. My wife had the fish, and it was nicely cooked and flavorful as well. The vegetables and sides went well and were perfectly cooked also. Mack made sure we were well taken care of. He's a great host!
Great atmosphere, good food. Quieter eating and drinking side. Not so quiet side with pool tables, darts, games and enough room to move around. Sidewalk tables as well. Great people working there.
I loved everything about this place. Cute set up and has a real local vibe. The food is great. I had the Goat Gruff omelet and it was everything I wanted and more.My picky eater 2yr old daughter ate all of her french toast which really impressed me. Don is a GEM and the Bartender sure can make a margarita.Thanks for having playing cards to keep my family occupied while we drank and waited on our food.
Service was good until we were trying to leave, then it took a little too long. Food was definitely frozen. I got the pizza and it was for sure a frozen Tombstone pizza and was not worth the price I paid. Also we paid more than the happy our price but that’s ok. They also charge a credit card surcharge on top of the insane taxes. In a good area except for the guy smoking weed outside when we left.
Mack’s place is the best in the area for sure. Mack somehow remembers everyone’s name and keep a clean and great place. I’ve been through 90% of the menu and never found anything bad, but several things were amazing. Space Dust on tap, massive selection, and all patrons are friendly and chatty. Go in and meet some people, have a good time, and grab some good food. It’s a neighborhood staple.
My wife and I went there after work this evening. It was my first time and her second. The food was delicious. I had their BBQ Burger. It was superb. The onion rings that I got with it were excellent. She got chicken wings and onion rings as well. She loved those tonight as well as the first time she had them.The sports bar was in a different room, so the restaurant was not as busy. Still, the atmosphere was nice. The service was first rate. Our server, David was very pleasant. The tasty food has to be credited to Regina, the cook. The owner was Mac. He was welcoming.We enjoyed our meal and plan to go there again. It is worth the trip.
I was actually in here on March 30th for happy hour, my friend and manager is leaving and is a regular here. I ordered wings and onion rings (there is only an upcharge of a dollar to get them instead of fries) The beer battered onion rings are delicious! The wings are the best in town! Regina is the cook, David is a wonderful server and Mack the owner is delightful and charming. I took the Bbq Burger with onion rings home for my partner Stanley, it was all so good we came back on Saturday April 2nd, and ordered the same again! Come check them out, you will not be disappointed!!
Awesome environment, with great drinks and food! Made it a point to come back the next day just to try something else. The bartenders/owners are super friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend
Absolutely my favorite bar in STL. The owners are always there and it has the best neighborhood atmosphere. The food is always made well and portions are generous. Great selection of alcohols and prices are very reasonable. If you like games, they have all the best bar games. Five stars!
This place is to die for!! The server was great and friendly. The fries had an awesome seasoning and me, my husband and my 18 month old loved. Such a neat place if you are looking for something new to try!
