I love this place. It is my second time visiting St. Louis and I made sure to come back here. The staff are friendly and the roast beef is so good. I wish Lions wasn't so far from my home ?
Still a great choice when you want some good roast beef. I haven’t been in awhile, and they now offer different levels of done-ness for the meat. However, I ordered the regular (medium rare) and my husband ordered medium, and the beef looked the same on our sandwiches. I upgraded to the sweet potato fries (30 cents more) and it was well worth it, they were delicious, and they have chipotle ranch for dipping. Staff was friendly and they have a good condiment station set up. This location seems to be a bit older and it’s tucked in so a little harder to find.
I love Lion's Choice, it's a trademark of St.Louis, but this was the worst lion's choice meal I've ever had! The staff were incompetent, I got served a soggy bun, cold sandwich, fries were decent, my orange freeze had chocolate syrup in the lid & cup.Asked for a new bun & said I was not satisfied with a song bun & they charged me an extra 92 cents.I wish I had gone to Pickleman's across the street, would have spent the same amount for far better quality food.
Staff is excellent, service is quick.I do not understand why they do NOT have a drive through. I would easily give this location 5 stars if it did.
Roast beef wasn't hot. Bun wasn't toasted. Fries were good. The location on Clatyon Rd was much better.
Great place for a quick bite to eat. Staff is always super friendly and attentive. Never had a wrong order yet and is fresh each time!
This is a taste of my childhood and I've not been there in about 10 years. Food was good and the manager was very nice. Will be back again next time I'm in town.
My old next door neighbor that I've known since I was 5 was in town and like most of my family and friends, has to go to Lion's Choice while in town. As usual, LC did not disappoint. We had Roast beef sandwiches, fries and drinks while catching up.
I was in town for business. I visited here twice because it was so good. I wish they had this restaurant in RI! The staff was friendly and helped me navigate the menu as a newbie. Everything was delicious. I may never visit St. Louis again but I will always remember my meals from Lion's Choice.
A St.Louis favorite and one that I try to have on each visit only place in US to get a real sandwich. When your product is the best people know it and love it.
