I get that people love this place but I can't get over the fact that you can't sub fried rice on an order. Not for an upcharge. Not at all. You have to buy an order of fried rice completely separate. This isn't the case at any other Chinese restaurant that I've ever been to in this town or any other. I'm literally sitting at another restaurant writing this where we ordered fried rice with our meal for an additional $1 not 5 minutes from Lemay Wok.
The food was decent BUT they gave me the wrong order. Had my husband call back to tell them and the guy argued with my husband that we ordered wrong and he did it right. I ordered one hot braised chicken with a side of white rice, an orange chicken with a side of white rice, fried wontons and the beef stick things. What I got though was two hot braised chickens, one side order fried rice, one order of white rice, sub par fried wontons and the beef sticks. The owner or whomever literally argued with my husband to the point of my husband hanging up and as he said “I ordered wrong” uhh I didn’t but whatever. 48 dollars for the wrong order, cool. Won’t be back.
This is my second order trough Grubbhub, that I didn't get from Restorans.We order food for work,waiting 45 min.over estimate time,then we receive the ph call,that our food is not picked yet,and they NOT sure if we are going to get the food,they offer the refund. Shame on you,you shouldn't be in that business. I won't recommend those people...They don't deserve 1 star...
My partner and I LOVE Lemay Wok! It's our absolute favorite place! We live 50 minutes away, but drive out to get it for special occasions. Our only gripe is that they aren't open on Sundays, which is our day off! Lol. We'd eat this every say if we could. Plus the owners are so incredibly nice.
You can't go wrong. I got the sweet and sour Chicken. It was all white meat cooked to perfection.?
I have enjoyed this restaurant for many years. Recently it has started to disappoint. Tonight half my food was overcooked (vegetables) and the other half was undercooked (egg rolls, ragoon). is this under new management or new chef?

This place is awesome! They really need to open back up for inside dining though. I drive from Illinois to eat here and can’t take it home to eat without it getting cold!
