My wife had the chicken fried steak with fried okra and cole slaw. She could have got a better chicken fried steak by eating a tv dinner. Honestly going by her it was exactly the same. The dog got half of it. I had the 3 piece chicken with 2 sides. Or I should say I ordered 2 sides however there was only one in the box. The chicken was ok. The coating tasted good however the breast was very dry. The one of two sides that was actually in the box the fried okra would have been good had it been fresh. They don't give out any butter or jelly for the biscuit. I will give it 2 stars because although incompetent at the job the staff were friendly. It had been years since eating at Lees and now I remember why.
Had to wait almost 20 minutes for my 'fresh chicken' which was supposed to only take 8 minutes and it's 100° outside AND my chicken is soggy!!! Then they make you pay for sauces even though you've just spent $45 there and THEN DON'T EVEN PUT THE SAUCE IN YOUR BAG!!!! SO OVER ALL THIS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WITH FAST FOOD RESTAURANTS! ???
Had the chicken-fried steak and a dob of mashed potaoes and the coleslaw. Had the brown gravy already on the pieces. Plus a water. My neighbor had invited me and we had a couple of coupons to work with. She had the 3- piece plate. We ended up spending less than $14.
Generally I like Lee's a lot, buti ordered roasted chicken and it was not good. The service was great, but the quality of the food was disappointing.
Their green beans have changed they are horrible, but the chicken was good, workers not so friendly
Very Rude, Drive thru person was rude about me being 5 mins early and was told too leave the drive thru and lose my spot in line.
Was not given the gravy for my mashed potatoes. Gravy that I asked for gorgeous 2nd order was lumpy and flavorless.
Waited for 10 minutes,no one said a word.I drove to the window,someone was there,still no response:-/They close at 10,it’s was 9:30.Terrible customer relations!
Good chicken. Food is good. I enjoy the fried okra with my fried chicken. There pork and beans are terrific !South Saint Louis on Kingshighway.
I always go through the drive-thru and have never had an issue. My food is consistently hot, fresh and DELICIOUS. Service is surprisingly quick, even with a few cars ahead of me in line. The cashier, Ahlena, was very polite!! I am not afraid to admit that I might be in love with the chicken sandwich ?????
