Leaning more towards a 3.5. I got a Rueben it was awesome, it had good flavor, it just was not very warm like I asked for. The pasta I got was great, a little sweet. The employees are all super friendly. Overall, a pretty good place to sit and eat at.
Everyone loves their sandwiches - there was a line today almost out the door. And they should love them, because they are excellent. BUT, the main reason that I go to LeGrands is their butcher counter. Best cuts of the best meats at reasonable prices. They have all the regular stuff that you can find at a grocer - but better - and then they also have hard to find things, odds and ends. They have grass-fed beef patties that are local. Today I got some of the best skirt steak I've ever seen. I LOVE these guys.
Went to LeGrand's to get 2 filet mignon steaks for a special event. This day they were very busy and was not offering curbside service. I just ran in and asked for the steaks. Joe's staff is very courteous and professional. Thanks Joe LeGrand.
Holy smokes what a sandwich! Tried out this local deli in St. Louis Hills for lunch. Got the spicy "The Legend" sandwich upon recommendation and it was phenomenal. The tuna salad was made fresh today and went great with the chips. This is will definitely be a staple for lunch and purchasing my local meats for dinner. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Very classic, old school atmosphere. Great meats and cheese. Many more lunches to be had here! Great prices too.
Great people. Quality butcher shop, meat counter, prepared foods and their famous sandwiches. A neighborhood treasure.
This place is a classic. Love taking a walk through the neighborhood and stopping in to le grands for a delicious sandwich and getting a cold drink. Also a great place to get last minute groceries and a great meat and deli selection. Like I said it is a CLASSIC.
My brothers in town from Los Angeles CA and Mom was with us (She's 90 yrs old). Gary says I'm hungry, where do you want to go eat. Mom says LeGrand's I love their Tortellini salad with Greek dressing. I ordered the Reuben on Pumpernickel bread (SO Good), Gary he ordered a spicy chicken sandwich he said was YUMMY. Recommend the place. No photos but trust me you love the place. Friendly staff too.
One here for the first time today and truly enjoyed it. I got their number one sandwich which was like a special club and it was a little spicy and hot and delicious. My only complaint was it was slightly expensive but that's to be expected when it's good food.
