I would define the burgers very messy but really good. I think a different bun will make the difference. The waiting was not bad at all and the service was good and quick. I would like to come back and try the shawarma. I think the menus should be either virtual or not paper menus.

We got the Patti Smith and Jane Says. Food was AHMAZING and fresh. Very casual atmosphere. Friendly waitresses. I’d definitely return when I’m in the area :)
The food was so delicious! The burgers were seasoned just right and super juicy. Had the sweet potato fries, which were also amazing. Too bad I live too far away to come back often!
Best chicken sandwich I’ve ever had. And the sweet potato fries…. Unreal.
Stoped in for lunch on a Sunday, overall had a good experience. No complaints about service, and food was good. Fries were a bit salty and my burger was a little more underdone than I asked for, but that's being nitpicky. Didn't receive 5 stars because we were seated at a dirty mismatched table, and were given dirty and well used paper menus. We would definitely come back though.
Really good Mediterranean, vegetarian, and meat-based sandwiches and burgers in a laid-back ambiance. Fries and sides are to die for. Shakes are sumptuous. One star off for each time I've had food poisoning here. Even when I ask for the meat burger to be well-done it is under-cooked. Would still stop by for the amazing vegetarian options.
Look, the food here is great, the staff is nice… when they’re open, which is hard to pin down. This goes for dining in, calling to order, and online ordering which is by far the LEAST consistent method, which is saying something.I live, quite literally, across the street from them and can never pin down what their hours actually are. They change week to week, are not posted on the door nor online when they do change, and even when they are somewhat more consistent, they choose to close hours earlier than advertised for no public reason.I understand such things are at the discretion of the business at the end of the day, but building a loyal customer base involves being consistent and professional. They’re professional when they’re open for the most part, but if you can never be sure when that is, does it really matter? At least post on your door or online what current, updated hours are and stick to it.Again, I want to reiterate the staff is full of lovely people who give great service, and the food is top notch. The rating here is so low only because if even a guy who lives across the street has these issues WEEKLY when trying to order at fairly normal times, how can they expect anyone to become repeat customers?I only keep trying because it’s so convenient. I understand COVID has complicated things recently, but this has been occurring for months - as in not during COVID case surges. I would have stopped coming here months ago if it wasn’t so close. At this point, it’s more of a ‘Well I guess we can try Layla’s, it’s so close that even though odds are they won’t be open, it won’t take long to know and move on.’So good luck, hopefully they’re open and you can try their food, which is great. Just be warned odds are about 50/50 that they’re open, and those odds change by the day and week on nothing more than seemingly a whim.
chill atmosphere. waitress was helpfull and knew the menu and my burger...2 smashed patties, medium to medium well was Amazing
Ordered takeout - great food. Seemed a nice - cozy place - when I had gone to pick up the order. Food was really good - a hidden gem in St. Louis- they have another location in St. Louis. Very authentic food - loved it.
