YUMMY !!!This restaurant is better than most Mexican eateries in the STL region !!! You get authentic and flavorful food and spices . Located smack dab in the middle of Cherokee street . The restaurant is very clean too.They offer a wide variety of food , drinks AND ice cream/desert options .Do NOT get me started on the Alcohol !! Omg so good ! They offer regular and top shelf . Drink sizes : regular and large . You can also get your drink put in a FRESH pineapple that they core rite in front of you ! Your drink WILL be strong !! Not watered down or weak .The food is so DELICIOUS !I always eat here . This time around , I got the large steak quesadilla and large long island ice tea ... Pics below .La Vallesana offers two outdoor seating areas , no indoor dining . You will NOT be disappointed after dining here ? .
We were trying to go to the Tacos and Ice cream joint down the street…which says its open til 8 on google…we arrived at about 6:45, parked, walked up and found out they were closed (luckily for us). Our disappointment turned into enthusiasm when we saw La Vallesana basically across the street. When I say I have never had street tacos so flavorful, fresh, and filling. Plus our drinks have had us laughing for hours! My kids CLEANED their plates and we got homemade Ice cream to go that we’re too full to eat. I can’t WAIT to go back!
Charged twice for Two Bloody Mary's. Be sure to check you receipt. It took 2 managers and the owner to credit my account. The person who did this, should have been spoken to. The first manager passed my concern on to the second. Finally after much aggravation, the owner took care of it. Two Bloody Mary's should never cost around 60.00. No atmosphere, did not order food and I will not return. Too many better places to spend my money. Do nor recommend.
This place is fabulous. ¡El mas mejor tacos de cachete y de lengua en el mundo todo! The chorizo is soooooo good, and if you order the house Paloma, they make it with Cazadores tequila! And the large is a full liter, how amazing is THAT! And the entire menu is genuine, quality ingredients, y hecho con autenticidad, amor, y los sabores classicos de Mexico. And for those looking for casual eats, snackitizers, and quality drinking, they have the best tequila back bar I've ever seen, with Corralejos empresa 99,000, a gorgeous extra añejo, and with Mexico's favorite Scotch, Buchanan's, in EVERY mark! The 15 year old makes Glenlivet and Glenmorangie taste like glentrash.They also have a nice variety of pan, helados, y postres for dessert and sweet tooths.Yes, I know, I'm gushing about the place, but I love it. As many times as we've been here, we've never had a less than stellar experience.
This is my favorite Mexican food in St. Louis, but now I only come here for lunch since they switched to counter service.I would definitely come here more frequently if they brought back table service and the enchiladas.
