This place is a taste of home. I have lived as far out as Fenton and House Springs, yet have still been known to drive here for any fish or chicken I want to pick up for dinner. Always the kindest staff who great and treat you as family. A warm atmosphere that is inviting to all.Kid-friendliness: Not too many kid meal options, but easily remedied by the a la carte menu.Parking: Plenty of parking, clean lot, no potholes
So, besides the fact that this is THE BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER, the service here is also amazing. They're very friendly, even on the phone that never stops ringing. But hey, when you got good food, you're gonna be busy.
Called at 11:30am for a 64 piece order of chicken to be ready at 4:30pm hoping they would be able to help...and they did! You can't find that type of service a lot of places in our current economic environment. Maggie gave me 5 star service over the phone too. Way to go King Eds!
My first visit to King Edwards was very good. The chicken was excellent, hot , fresh and no greasy taste! I would recommend this place if you like fried chicken!
The fried chicken is good, hot and juicy, the livers and gizards were good if that's your thing, I wish I had been able to try more things but I'll have to go back one day I suppose. You probably won't find a better chicken dinner for the price in this area.Way better than hodaks in my opinion.

Yeah, this is a good place with good food, but it’s pretty overrated. The food is good but nothing special. I do love the decorations and the New Orleans theme, but everything else is just good. There’s really nothing wrong with the place, I just don’t get the hype. They do have a wide variety of options, and the food is good. You get a lot, too. Good place if you like fried chicken or any kind of fish. (I do not recommend the chicken tenders. There is like no breading, they are huge and hard to eat, and they don’t even taste that good. I’m sure everything else is good, though, considering how much people like the place.)
I've heard good reviews from coworkers. I got a to go order of chicken. That's the best chicken you can buy cooked to bring home. I'll be back.
I have to make this a 5 star rating because they fully deserve a 6! So very good chicken and more. Just wish they were open till 8pm instead of 7pm.
This is one of my favorite places a bucket list restaurant! A bit of creole from crawfish, frog legs, and oysters! All amazing…. But my favorites fried shrimp and style plus chicken, fried liver and gizzards. And amazing side orders! All exceptional!!!Prices very reasonable and great service!Gotta have some for creole for Mardi celebration but once you find it you will be back - trust me!
