WORST PLACE TO GO EAT AT! We were treated like we had the plague! The FOOD DON'T EAT IT! It was REALLY OVERLY SALTED! The green beans WERE NOT CLEANED! They tasted like and yes I found dirt on THEM! THE WAITER WAS RUDE TO US! But the three ladies that he got their numbers from, I hope they don't date him! WE HAD SIX DIFFERENT WAIT STUFF WALK BY AND NOT SAY CAN I SET YOU! PLEASE WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT GO THERE! Oh and the WAITER tried to follow us out of the building after we SAW HIM JUSTING AT THE BAR DRINKING!
Great food and service would recommend to all.
Beautiful patio, attentive and fun server, and great food. The menu has plenty of options for a vegetarian like me. You won't feel left out! We usually go to the South County location, but we gave this one a try. So glad we did.
This place has more American food options like fried chicken than Italian, but either way they give you enormous portions. I recommend asking for a half-order of any past dish unless you are an NFL lineman. Service was excellent.
Since we're now homeowners on The Hill, we're wanting to find establishments nearby. Maannn, I'm on a 5star streak simply because the places I've visited have had delicious entrées and more than exceptional customer service-let's keep this goin!! We requested patio seating and were promptly led all the way to the back. You know I went for the Moscow Mule which was cool & i was in the mood for a salad, but hubby had a margarita and Trashed Chicken wings...he finished his and I'm horribly disappointed my salad was wayyy to big lol-i will conquer it next time?
Would never return. Fought flies our entire meal! Food was just so-so. Lasagna wasn’t bad but spaghetti left a lot to be desired. Sad, we had been looking forward to a The Hill Italian meal.
Came here after a recommendation from our hotel front desk staff. It was a Friday night, so it was packed. While waiting for a table, we had an appetizer, and a drink at the bar. The bartender was the sweetest young lady. She was quick, efficient, and incredibly welcoming.Once seated, we had a friendly, immensely kind server. I apologize for not remembering his name. The food (we had three different pasta dishes, and one Hawaiian chicken sandwich at our table) - was downright dreamy. Seriously cannot wait to visit St Louis again, for my portobello ravioli. Spectacular food!!We did wait almost an hour for our food. I gave four stars for this reason. Also, we waited a long time (20+ minutes) for our check, and to-go boxes. I figured, much like every other restaurant, they had to be backed up in the kitchen, and understaffed.Yet, I know I'll dream of my meal, now that I'm back home (12 hours north, of beautiful St Louis).
Excellent food! Great service and large portions!
I had the spaghetti and meatballs w meat sauce - I eat a lot and came hungry, so there was some concern about portion size. The server assured me it would be enough (they always say that, don't they?).I'm happy to report that I was stuffed by the end of the meal - no room for dessert. Service was also prompt and friendly, and happy hour prices were good. For a low key night out, give Joey B's a try.
I had the gianino salad and tutta mare. Not much seafood except for 3 shrimp, but it was tasty.
