I love dive bars like this one. Near tons of restaurants in the Hill neighborhood.
We are just passing through St Louis and staying for a a night. Jimmy Mack’s is a neighborhood bar just down the street from where we are staying so decided to go watch the Super Bowl game there. Random people walking bye our table would greet us. Had a chance to talk to the owners and they were very friendly. Owners even bought a couple rounds for the bar. Wow. Where does that happen. Great bar.
This place is so loud!! It's a shot gun building so If there's 6 people in there it sounds like there's 50!!!

Very nice people and good, spacious, covered patio outside. Non-smoking. Only 4 stars because parking could be a challenge! We had a good time though!
One of my favorite bars of all time. Great atmosphere, friendly bartenders. Most of the patrons seemed to be pretty chill. Not a bunch of young punks hanging out here. Mr. Jimmy is a cool dude. Always comes over to say hello. Oh and the drinks are dirt cheap. Anyone can afford to drink here. I mostly love this place because I've had such a good time here on so many different occasions. Oh those were the days. I don't drink too often anymore but when I do I always try to stop in for at least one drink. Cool place, check it out if you haven't already.
Was in town for a couple of nights didn't know the area at all came in for one beer ended up staying over 3 hours nice bar everyone seemed friendly
