I love this place. The cupcakes are always fresh and change for the seasons and holidays. They are large and festive and delicious. If you haven’t already I suggest you visit Jillys soon! We make sure to add a cupcake from here for all of our birthday celebrations
The cupcakes were perfectly moist and true to their described flavor, however the entire experience was soured by the two women behind the counter who should not be working for a cupcake shop. They were rude and seemed very angry. Like just down right overtly mean. Hard to enjoy a cupcake when the workers are scowling at you the entire time as if you ruined their day by patronizing the shop they CHOSE to work at. If you work with desserts you should be as sweet as your product not bitter and dry.

Very expensive. Not good service if a problem. $5 ice cream cup of ice cream was like mini scoops. When I was trying to read a sign on a table to see if I could sit there my cupcake fell off my plate. I hadn’t even taken a bite. I went to tell them there was a mess cause I dropped my cupcake the response was that someone would get to it. I then asked if I could please have some frosting to replace mine that was all over a chair and the floor. I was told no cause it wasn’t their fault. I get that but I have never had a business not give me a new item when dropped immediately at the establishment. I was shocked.
Every time I come to St. Louis (once or twice a year), I try to stop by Jilly's. My recent trip was very disappointing. Of the 2 cupcakes I purchased, the bee sting and a peanut butter/chocolate cupcake--can't recall the name--the cake of the peanut butter one was incredibly dry, almost inedible. Usually I'm practically swallowing these cupcakes whole. This time, it took me 2 days to eat that cupcake, and actually, I didn't finish. I left about 1/3 of it before finally trashing it. Why did I keep forcing myself to try and eat it??!? Because these cupcakes are NOT cheap, plus add the tip that I paid, it was difficult for me to just discard it, but I eventually did. The bee sting cupcake was great, but the other one was terrible, and at the prices charged, it's hard for me to justify to make future visits if the quality is questionable. This is so disappointing because I've always looked forward to getting my cupcake fix every time I come to town.

The employees were upbeat and delightful! This was our children's first time there and they were amazed by all the beautifully crafted cupcakes. You can really see how much love these employees put into their work ?
