I've only shopped here for my 4th time, but I'm happy to have found them. The food is fresh & nicely seasoned. I wish I could give them 5 stars, but because of the crab racoon being consistently over cooked as well as the broccoli I just can't. The service is fast, friendly, and professional. I will definitely be eating here many times again.?
They would have gotten 5 stars for all the staff being masked alone, but the food deserved it as well.
This was my first visit and I found the location through a Google search. I did see one reviewer's comment that when they want Chinese, they only come here. I looked at the menu choices and saw that there were meals for vegans, and that convinced me to choose them. I ordered sesame tofu and a side of plain fried rice. It was prepared perfectly and was one of the best tasting dishes I've ever had. I ordered online but had to call in with some modifications because there was no option on the site to do so. That is my only issue, and it's such a simple thing to fix or work around. The prices seem to be pretty reasonable, especially compared to others in the area. The portion size is enough for 2 meals, which is good for having leftovers the next day. I will be back and this may be the only place that I'll go to for Chinese food. Yum.
I've watched three generations of family members run this restaurant. And it's the best in St Louis I've tried dozens of other places but nothing compares to this it's a small family-owned operation and they do it well I would recommend this to everybody sincerely Terry Lawson
Always great food. Never a problem with a pick up order. Friendly people and great service. If you like General Tso's Chicken, try theirs, really good!
We ordered online, the website said a 30 minute wait, we got there right at the appropriate pick up time only to be told that it was going to be another 30 minutes. We then waited a full hour from our order time to be told it was going to be another 10 minutes. When I asked for a refund the person behind the counter never apologized but told me to call to get an appropriate time the next time I ordered. That won’t be happening. 0 stars.
My husband and I have tried at least 12 oriental restaurants since Hunan Royal closed. Most of them were adequate. We finally found the one that stacks up.We will definitely be repeat customers.

We ordered the fried rice and combo lo mein plate with egg rolls and soup. It was a last minute order for the family dinner event but turned out better than expected. A friend from work recommended them since it was close to work. Not too shabby for a place like this, better than most Chinese fast food place. Covid safety is a priority for them too, we waited in our car before getting a buzz to pick up food.
Best Chinese delivery I've ever had. We're sitting here raving about it and wondering why we've been ordering from anywhere else. They've got a new lifelong customer.
