We had our wedding reception at Hendri’s in October and it was amazing! All of our guests gushed over how incredible the food was. I love the beautiful floor tiling. The venue has this really cool vibe - almost like a speak easy. The bar and archways are beautiful and have some cool history. Dan was wonderful to work with and very attentive to us throughout the planning process. Don't overlook this place because of the outside, the party is inside, and it’s perfect!
" Hendri's served as the caterer at our 60th Anniversary Soiree. The food (from the cocktail hour of fine appetizers to the buffet dinner to the desserts) was amazing and the staff was absolutely the best. The staff attended to every detail and no task was too little or too big for them to handle. Also, I appreciated the various touch points throughout the night to ensure that all of my expectation were met. I heard from many guests that the food was delicious and plentiful. Simply put, Hendri's team were very organized and well coordinated. From the point of the first contact with the to all the many emails and telephone calls to the "day of" to organize and coordinate the event Hendri's delivered a flawless event. The team is professional and very responsive to meeting the needs and expectations of their customers I appreciated the attention to detail and their engagement, involvement, and frankly speaking sincere and genuine interest in ensuring the success of the event. They made it seem so effortless. Together, along with the professional bartenders, to the artists/performers to the Floral Jazz - florist (who by the way did an amazing job with the centerpieces). -- Hendri's staff attended to every detail and no task was too little or too big for them to handle. There are not enough compliments I can give to express my gratitude and experience working with Dan and Mara. We booked with a venue that works with them. Out of all the options on the list, Hendri's is the only place to not only contact us and get to know us, they genuinely cared as well. They listened to our needs, didn't b.s. on pricing and kept everything transparent. Leading up to our wedding they helped us and the venue come up with the layout for the room, because we were bracing for a cold snowy day. As my stress level was rising, they never fluctuated, they were a solid foundation for us. My husband and I, both respectively work in the industry, so they knew they were in for a party. Boy did they show up. SO MANY of our friends and family raved about the food. Mara absolutely killed it. I had people telling me how disappointed they were in whoever they had booked with in the past because our menu was that phenomenal. Their bar and wait staff were the most hospitable and helped me right before the walk down the aisle ( makers mark in a champagne flute FTW ). So yes just book Hendri's. We hosted our wedding reception at Hendri's on Ridgewood. Their event space was warm and inviting. From the beautiful wallpaper, to the wood trim, to the fireplace, it was the perfect venue for our winter wedding. Dan and Mara were a delight to work with and always available to answer questions during the planning process. And the food--YUM! Our guests are still talking about how much they enjoyed it. We don't think you can go wrong hosting an event with Hendri's.
Hendri’s provided the catering and bar service for our wedding and we received so many compliments on the food. When I say that the food was delicious, I mean it. They allowed for several customizations and we had to specially request a few vegan meals which was not a problem for them at all. I wish I could have eaten more, but I was beyond full. Guests loved it. Highly recommend.
