Very good staff, service and food Throughly enjoyed our visit . We were glad out first choice was closed
Great place in every way! We traveled 2 hours to see Platinum Rock Legends and were not disappointed!!! Probably one of the best bands I've seen. Fitzgerald's was large enough to accommodate the huge crowd as well. The food was delicious, and our waitress was fantastic. I can't wait to go back!
This visit was perfect! Our server was on his game and enjoyed his job. He realized that my friend was hard of hearing and he kneeled down to take his order.I will always get the Wednesday night steak special ❤️. This is so tender and has good flavor. I also enjoy listening to the music being played, takes me back to the good ole days.
Nice place pretty good food
Last Saturday I brought a very large group to celebrate my Birthday and also to propose to my girlfriend and the entire staff was very friendly and accommodating to the challenges of handing such a large group.I really appreciate all the efforts and kindness given to us which helped to make that night so memorable. I always enjoyed going to Helen Fitzgerald to eat and listen to the awesome music played in there, but after this experience I will definitely return even more often :-)
Hubby and I enjoyed 2 delicious dinners at this very busy restaurant. Wait staff were running about trying to do a good job, but unfortunately this left them unable to pay attention to details (like no bacon on a bacon cheeseburger, no ketchup for french fries...) Corned beef dinner, Reuben sandwiches were generous portions, and the burgers themselves were flavorful and well-prepared.
Not sure why this place was recommend to us as we had horrible service. Waiter arrived chomping on his gum and was less than friendly. Food arrive cold and tasteless. Corned beef was thick and not much flavor. Chicken wings slimy. Very underwhelming.
My husband and his buddy worked all day on a woodworking project. They needed a beer and some food and Helen Fitzgerald's fit the bill. The pub has a sport bar atmosphere with lots of TVs. They ordered chicken wings and pizza! They were both very happy as they munched through those items. This pub is a great place with or without sawdust in one's clothes.
I'm not sure why this place was as busy as it was. Since this was supposed to be an Irish pub, I ordered the corned beef and cabbage. The portion seemed fine for the cost, but the flavor was just not there at all. The cabbage was overcooked. Everything on the plate had the same seasoning on it but still managed to be pretty flavorless. I've honestly had better tasting corned beef out of a can. The menu mentions "thick cut" corned beef, but mine arrived shaved. Maybe some of the other food from their large and meandering menu (seriously? shark???) is better, but I won't be back to find out.
Always a good time. We have been there for dinner and was good but we more often go later for the entertainment and dancing. Crowded but fun. Great bands.
