I gave a generous 2 stars only because I've had prior above average experiences. All 4 in our party tonight had a thumbs down response to their entrees which seemed mostly due to missing ingredients? I had the spinach enchiladas which were dry with absolutely no detectable sauce over the top and it had a hardened shredded cheese melted over the top which formed a cocoon over it. The Chimichanga's were basically a bland beef blend with little flavor appeal in a pastry shell. The server was very timid and robotic she was wearing a mask which hey to each their own regarding personal protection but, personally I believe it makes for a uncomfortable experience with the interaction with the guest. I would suggest that if your employees are going to choose to wear a mask to perform their job then the hostess should inform the guest at that time before they're seated if they're okay with that? Sort of like back in the day with a smoking or non-smoking section preference. The only positive were the mango margaritas. Honestly I think I would have enjoyed Taco Bell over this. Sorry, but this just wasn't good.
I told my husband all I wanted to do for Mother’s Day was to go to Hacienda… It’s been a little while. Been going for over 35 years and I always get the same thing… enchilada, tostada, rice and beans. What I always loved about the enchilada was the shredded beef and particularly the dark yellow cheese. It appears that at some point the recipe has been changed… I received an enchilada with seasoned hamburger and the cheese was white. It was OK but just not what I have been used to. The tostada ended up getting soggy from the grease from the hamburger… No longer shredded beef. I still love the margaritas, chips and salsa… They are the best!! Seems I will just have to find a new dish to enjoy ?
Servicer was so attentive and chili relleno was delicious but the side salad I paid for was laughable served on a saucer. FYI
Good food, friendly service
outdoor dining, friendly staff, good food, good atmosphere!
Had the best catering experience for an office party! Had more than enough food for 25 people. Lucy was great to work with and went above an beyond for my order! The Hacienda food is delicious, and the staff is so friendly! Highly recommend for dine in, pick-up, and catering!
The guacamole was good. Service was great. My food was served luke warm to room temperature, not hot. Street Tacos were not good. I had the pork, mildly seasoned and with the canned pineapple just dumped on top. They were very disappointing. Definitely not restaurant quality Mexican food. The only reason I give the place overall 3 stars, 0 for the entree and 5 for service and guacamole.
Standard Mexican food. It's pretty good but I'm not a fan of their chips and salsa; they taste weird to me. That would have been 4 stars but when we went, it felt like the waitress didn't want to serve or interact with us even though they weren't busy and we were being very chill and low maintenance. Won't be back, not because it was a terrible experience but because there weren't enough reasons to try again.
Locally this is one of the best Mexican restaurants. However the seller for this place is the patio and chips and salsa. Their food is good, it's not necessarily great, but a place I've eaten at many times. The service is solid, but their patio on a nice day would make bread and water taste delicious. Their margarita menu is good and they do make a great margarita. They also have some of the best tortilla chips around in my opinion and a salsa bar for a variety of options.
My family has been coming here since I was a kid in the 80s and it never disappoints. Now I bring my kids and they love it too. Always great atmosphere, friendly service, and fresh, tasty food. I love that my teenage son can fill up with a big hearty platter while I can order a lighter, healthier meal. We always bring my parents, and recently brought my in-laws from out of the country. The patios is just perfect in the spring.
