DELICIOUS GYROS ?!! I wish I took a picture before eating, but I was so excited to try it. Definitely a great spot!
The ingredients are always fresh, the food is delicious, and the owners are exceptionally nice and friendly. Gyro Express has become one of our go-to lunch stops in downtown St. Louis.
I have definitely had better. The tzatziki sauce is very thin with a watered down taste!! And the meat is a little salty. vegetables are nice and crisp and fresh. Kind of pricey. Service was just OK. I will not be back. Slop this one and keep looking.
My wife and I stayed the weekend at the MAC hotel. This was a absolute favorite place to eat lunch in St. Louis. Great staff. Authentic food. Perfect price.
The folks in this place are very warm, friendly, and provide excellent service. The food is an excellent quality for the price. The gyro meat is juicy and flavorful, the pita bread is fresh, and the fries are some of the best I have had in St. Louis. I'm very grateful to have discovered such an excellent place so close to my work. I will probably be eating here at least once per week.
Great flow of getting customers served. The delivery order driver that was there was quite rude to the workers. But the worker still kept his composure and still tried to accommodate her and she walked out in the middle of him preparing her order. I ordered fries and they were very hot and tasty.
Tried this when visiting downtown. Seems like a family owned place and food was good as well as service. Would definitely go back. Had a few options with rice bowls and gyros with fries mostly.
