My boyfriend and I happened upon Grand Rising through doordash several months ago, but never realized it was within walking distance of our house. Today we stopped by the store for a smoothie and the owner, Stan, gave us a five star experience: Great conversation, amazing smoothies, and an awesome atmosphere both indoors and outside. Definitely check this place out!! Stan puts so much effort into ensuring his customers have a fantastic experience when they step foot in his shop.
Ordered avocado toast, breakfast burrito, and the antioxidant smoothie. The avocado was not the freshest looking thing ever, but combined with the cherry tomatoes it tasted okay. The burrito was also good but the tortilla fell apart so easily I ended up eating it with a fork. The smoothie was really tasty! They just need to work on the appearance and quality of their delivery items
First time visiting there today. Ordered the breakfast burrito....FRESH and DELICIOUS!!! The avocado on the burrito was green. The veggies were fresh and the fruit cup too!! So good. That was my first time trying 'Just Egg'. He could tell I was hesitant and he assured me with "I can make it taste like the real deal. Don't worry." He was not kidding!! I can't wait to go back and enjoy the patio now that the weather is nice. I have been vegetarian for several years and that is the best vegan breakfast burrito I've had to date. The owner was there and I shared my good news and he gave me a cupcake and a mug as a congrats. Go support the folks y'all! Great experience. Great food!! Can't wait to go back.
Went in expecting a refreshing smoothie. My boyfriend nearly slipped due to the sheet of ice in the front of the shop. Spent $26 on 2, 20oz smoothies. I wouldn’t have minded the price, if it was good. It had no flavor, the fruit wasn’t the slightest bit sweet, and the customer service was subpar. They look good though.
They are still figuring out hours, etc, but smoothies are pretty good. Tango, minus lemon is good. Prices reflect the the COVID price hikes, $11 for 20 oz. smoothie seems expensive, mainly because thats too much food for one sitting.
Came into town to hang with my bestie and my beautiful niece. We both got the Peachy Pennsylvania! And it was delicious! Saw the shop on my timeline and had to give it a try. The owner has an amazing spirit. Checked on us here and there as we were there for hours catching up. A great place for a smoothie and conversation.
Best smoothie I've ever had. They don't use any short cuts (no ice, no dairy). Just fresh fruits and veggies. If you're a smoothie fan, this is your place in St. Louis. The one drawback is the pricing especially with a tip. It's hard to tip on an $11 smoothie.
So kind and accommodating! And great food! Highly recommend.
I first visited this business the first week of July. At the beginning I said this would be a great addition to the neighborhood. I said the prices were decent for an all natural smoothie!Fast forward to 8 weeks later…..IT is THE SAME menu but MORE expensive!!! MUCH MORE!First of….the smoothie is now $11 for 20oz. When I first visited it was $8.00!!!!Second the juice was advertised at 20oz for $8 at the beginning of July. Now second week of September I paid $10 for A 7OZ of juice in a PLASTIC container. It didn’t even quench my thirst. Also not sure if owner even cares but freshly squeezed juice SHOULD NOT be placed in a potential-toxic container.Third and most disappointing and possibly disturbing is the man on the register INSISTED that I buy this piece of cake!!!!! He literally keep asking for me to purchase one. I had to tell him, I’m on a weight loss journey trying to improve my health. I shouldn’t have to tell him that after I said NO thank you TWICE!That is actually the reason why I stopped by to buy a healthier option with the juice and smoothie!I gave a 1 star not because of the product itself. I gave 1 star for the inconsistency with pricing and the experience of being forced to buy something I didn’t want nor need in my life!I can only imagine how much or how many people he try to take advantage of.At the end of the day the words I’m looking for is GREED.
THE BEST smoothie shop I’ve ever been to. Between the California Cleanse and the Magnolia Morning it was hard to pick a favorite. Will definitely be back!
