Fantastic food from a family run restaurant. My Girlfriend and I were in town and were thinking of lunch when I found them on google maps. They were COVID conscious and we sat outside and enjoyed the sunshine and some of the wonderful food. The owner was right. When I asked what was best he said everything. We met the family and spent I don’t know how long enjoying it all. It’s a make your day kind of meal and place. Whether you eat outside or get it to go. You WILL enjoy the food
Amazing food! We tried pulled pork, brisket, and smoked wings and all 3 were great. The owner also gave us a sample of the ribs which were excellent. We've eaten at just about all of the barbeque/smokehouse restaurants throughout the St Louis area and this one definitely stands out as one of the best. Great family owned business with friendly service, we will definitely be back soon.
Holy wow. This is some of the best BBQ I’ve ever had. Fall off the bone tender ribs, a meatloaf sandwich that’s incredible, toasted bun pulled pork sandwich to die for. I was just passing through, now I’ve found “my spot” for next time. Thanks again for your hospitality as well. These owners love their customers and bbq!
Out of towner looking for good STL bbq experience and 5 Aces was perfect. Tender brisket and pulled pork. Good size portions. Owner was great. Tried a higher priced bbq bourbon place at delmar loop but was not impressed. Can't wait to get back.

AMAZING! I have been on the search for a bbq place that doesn’t over salt (like the majority of places do), and I have finally found my ‘go to’ bbq place. Everything was delicious and I will definitely be coming back. The meat, the sides, the beignets! Perfection all around!*Plus it’s a family owned restaurant, so you can’t go wrong with trying it out as well as supporting a family owned bbq joint*
Hands down the best bbq in city. Everything in the menu has been insanely good. I would eat here every day if I could! I judge a bbq joint by their brisket and I didn't think Bogart's could be matched. So glad 5 aces proved me wrong. I haven't tried their seafood yet because the ribs, pulled pork, and brisket are too dang good to pass up. One day I'll get to it and I'm certain we won't be disappointed. We have brought visitors from Memphis, Austin and both sides of N. Carolina; every single belly has left joy-full. Anyone leaving dissatisfied speaks more about them than it does 5 Aces.
