Hot Italian sub was good! Onion rings largest I have ever seen. Went to the late night menu a little early but think they had staffing issues. Advice would be to add their pretzel bites to the late night menu.

Great little find when visiting St. Louis. Food and service were both great! Our son spilled a drink all over the patio and they were super understanding and cleaned it up quickly. Immediately asked if I would like another drink.

My lovely wife and I have been staunch supporters of firefighters as well as all first responders. Nevertheless, we have had a very distasteful experience at your Firehouse Bar & Grill on Lemay Ferry Rd. Yesterday, May 6, 2022 at approximately 12:20 AM we entered Firehouse after visiting her Mom's grave in Jefferson Barracks Cemetery for Mother's Day. As we walked in, an apparent bartender with long dark hair told us to sit wherever we liked. The place was almost empty except for one patron at the bar as well as two tables of guests that appeared to have finished their meals. We selected a table, sat down, then waited to be served. Unfortunately, that never happened. The lady behind the bar looked our way a couple of times but never approached us. Neither did a man wearing blue clothing. Instead, the two of them walked back to the restroom area, then back out to the bar area as well as into the kitchen area. There was a lot of laughing in the kitchen but no one came to see if we'd like drinks or to present us with menus!!?? Eventually, both of them walked over to the staircase and headed down to an apparent engagement. We kept looking at them. However, they stopped and looked at us but proceeded to go on downstairs. We got up and walked to the door in disgust! She had continued on downstairs as he came back up and stood at the entrance to the kitchen looking befuddled. I looked over at him and simply uttered the word, "bulls**t"!! As we walked out the inner door he came to us and said something about "chili pepper"??? Then he made some sort of excuse about only having one server in Firehouse. Instead of apologizing he simply wished us a "good day..." and went back inside. At 12:35 PM we went to our vehicle and left in anger. By the time we got to Arnold MO I realized that I had inadvertently left my expensive UV/night vision/sunglasses in your establishment. Of course, that's on me. Regardless, in the past, we had enjoyed Firehouse very much. We had brought an entourage of family and friends from a funeral/memorial to our sister/sister-in-law. Over the years we had introduced relatives to Firehouse. We live over 60 miles away. During the COVID-19 pandemic we weren't able to continue patronizing your bar and grill. This was suppose to be a long-awaited experience for us. Yet, this lack of customer support left us with a very bad taste in our mouths.

Sadly short staffed on the day we visited, we seated ourselves as the sign instructed. We were a larger group but no problem choosing an outside table for lunch on Sunday! The waitstaff handled our multiple orders perfectly, food was hot, delicious, plentiful portions. Always a great place whenever we've visited in the past. Was happy to introduce four new people to the Firehouse!

Me and my daughter went there midweek for lunch. We both got a lunch special which was a choice of soup and a pizza for $11. My daughter enjoyed her potato soup and I opted for the chili. My chili was served cold. Not warm but cold. Maybe the person in the back working the microwave it power level of one instead of 10. Both of our pizzas were good. I did mention to the waitress that she needs to check for future customers that their food is warmed up proper. No apologies or real concern. There are a ton of places I could spend $11 at it lunchtime and have a great meal. This is not one of them.

I'm giving a 2** because our server Jennifer was awesome!! Thanks for making a terrible lunch a tad better with your excellent service!!To the kitchen- shame on you! I ordered a supper club and the chicken came out frozen! When Jennifer brought back the replacement, there was hardly a chicken nugget on it. 3rd time at this place and 3rd time something was messed up. Do better!

Was there last night with my wife and kids. Service was great, food was great. My wife loved their special. Biggest issue was a server talking poorly about other workers in back room with friend. WE saw same server throw papers at the bartender who was talking to someone else as we were leaving. Very upsetting to see a server mistreat a coworker.

Apparently they impose a mandatory 20% gratuity on “groups of five that the servers don’t recognize.” So if you’re not a regular be prepared to get bent over. The food is nothing special, the service is slow and don’t expect your order to come out right. Never going back. If you are considering eating or drinking here don’t.Response to the owner:It doesn’t really matter if a 20% tip is customary, the service we received at this establishment in no way reflected the forced gratuity. Without imposing an up charge the server would have been lucky to have been tipped at all. The check was split 3 ways between 5 people I guess five guests is a large party for an establishment of this caliber. I understand that you probably need to do this because your service staff can’t keep a drink full or get an order correct. Please believe we will never patronize your dive bar again… As it seems providing an “enjoyable dining experience is beyond your control.”??

Excellent service and delicious food! Barbecue, potatoes, salad were just fantastic and portions very generous! I'll definitely be back!

Just left after our first ever visit. We wanted to try someplace new after getting tired of our usual go-to places. The deluxe pizza with provel cheese was quite enjoyable. My wife had a chicken wrap and fries. The wrap was full and tasted great. We will definitely be coming back. Staff was attentive with pleasant interactions.
