Best sammies on Cherokee! My boyfriend and I eat there at least once a week. Can't beat the price either. Go taste the love put into every mouthwatering sandwich.
The Trash Chick sandwich is the absolute best ever period!!! Day 2 of my sandwich binge. The peanut butter and pretzel cookie and mesquite bbq kettle chips are awesome!!!!! This is what’s left of my delicious meal!!!!!#yummmmmmmmmm
Do yourself a favor and GO HERE! It’s a tiny shop, but everything I’ve had here is amazing and they have seating outside. I don’t eat bread, but you can get any sandwich as a salad. AND you can get ALL of the veggies on their list in your salad (if you like veggies as much as I do, this is amazing!) AND they make their honey vinaigrette in house and it’s so delicious. And Elaine the owner is so kind and joyful - actually everyone that works there is kind of great. Just go here. I kinda like it if you can’t tell. :)
Elaine's has one of the best sandwiches I've ever had! You can get a specialty sandwich or create your own from a wide variety of ingredients. The bread and vegetables were super fresh and delicious. As an out of towner, I now know Elaine's will be a go-to when in SL.Located in the Cherokee district which is also a very cool area.
We ordered the Cuban and the Joey Boy. The bread on the Cuban was fresh, soft and toasted to perfection. This was a very tasty sandwich with the right balance of ham, roasted pork, cheese, vegetables and mustard. However, I would like to have seen a bit more generous portions with the meat, but overall, it wasn’t bad. On the other hand, the bread for the Joey boy was thick, dry and extremely crumbly. The meat portions also could have been much better for the high bread ratio. Based on my experience with other delis, I found Elaine’s to be very average and will not likely return, as there are a lot of other places that are better around the metro to visit.
What a sandwich! Had the Cherokee Beef with Au Jus, and it was delicious. Super friendly folks inside. A few outside tables to eat at.
If you're looking for a light lunch and have it your way, this is the perfect place. The owners was chill, the staff was friendly and kind. Just an awesome 10 mins with some cool people and they made an awesome wrap and cookies.
This is just a great place with very nice people and delicious food.
I love elaine’s! Everyone one of her staff members are great. Very personable. They make your food fresh and have homemade soups. If you haven’t tried it’s a must. I suggest the poppa or the buff chick. Delicious.
