Poor quality and not authentic Mexican food! My family and I were visiting St.Louis and we decided to eat here since it had 4.2 stars. We were very disappointed. The food was bland, rice was hard, and they served us spoiled chicken which had a bad after taste and horrible smell. They forgot our appetizer, and my piña colada tasted like pure coconut syrup and alcohol. On top of all that the food was also not close to authentic Mexican food. Could really improve on a lot of areas. I suggest going somewhere else! If we visit again, we will definitely avoid going here again.

So here’s the deal. I’ve been here many times. Service was absolutely appalling. We got there at 6:45 didn’t get our food until 8:20. I’m pregnant, starving, and only had one refill of my water by the time my food got to me. I asked for sour cream. It came 10 minutes later when I was finished eating. Didn’t even eat it.The food was okay I guess but we paid $36 for two meals (expensive as far as I’m concerned). I get it we all have bad days but seriously why did everyone who came after us get their food BEFORE WE DID. I sat in the restaurant for two hours. Unhappy. Won’t be coming back or recommending. Two stars for the cheese dip. Thanks.

nice place.friendly staff.fair prices

I have NEVER had a bad meal here! The waitstaff is friendly and fast. The food is amazing, the margaritas are loaded! This is one of my favorite local joints!

My first time eating here yesterday . If i could give this restaurant rating a NEGATIVE 10 , I most definitely would . It was extremely bland !!! When you think of Mexican food your palate expects bold, flavorful ethnic spices and sauces . That did NOT happen here !! The food was gross . No seasoning . No special sauce for the shrimp taco salad or shrimp taco I ordered and attempted to eat . I had to order a side of ranch for it . My tortilla shell for my salad was STALE !The frozen margaritas were NOT strong and were super "wet" /melted and not like a solid frozen /slushy type margarita should look like . The presentation sucked . no salt on the rim of the glass , some people had a slice of fruit on their glass . Ours didn't . That let's me know the individual who made our drinks didn't know what they were doing and did not care .My shrimp salad had HUGE cuts of red and green bell peppers in it . Not bite sized pieces like a salad is supposed to have . My shrimp taco was the most unappealing looking presentation of food I've ever seen . Picture this : a plate , piece of foil , small soft tortilla, 3 over cooked cold bland pieces of shrimp , lettuce , white shredded cheese and that's it !! No special sauce or anything to make it juicy and tasty. I asked for no onions or tomatoes on any of my food . They messed up my home girl order and tried to tell her that it was correct , when she has eaten here more than once and knows what her order was supposed to look like . Pics of our food below .Our server , OMG !! I STRONGLY believe this was his first day in America and working at the restaurant . Because his English was almost non existent AND he didn't have knowledge of the menu items AT all !! Just smiled a lot and said yes . Which of course ended up in some of our food being wrong and having some one else on a cane coming out to clarify what we ordered . Yet some items STILL were brought out incorrectly.Everything about this place was a strong NO ! Ewww ! I had high hopes for this restaurant because my home girl spoke highly of it and I love Mexican food so I was game to try it . I will stick to La Vallesana on Cherokee street .This establishment will NOT be getting my coins or business ever again !!

Service was bad. Food was bad. Ordered fajitas El maguey and meat was overcooked, under seasoned and dry. The waitress wouldn't come back to the table had to flag her down just to get a refill of tea so that i could try to eat the dry unseasoned meat. When done I had to go up to the counter to get my check to pay.

Good Restaurant! Our waiter (David?, I'm pretty sure) did wonderful with our group ?. The ambiance was colorful & festive... piñata-ish? But cool and clean! Place wasn't busy (afternoon time). I had the Mexican burrito/w ground beef. ⭐⭐⭐½'s Guacamole bowl ?!

I came here with my mother on the 9th of March around 6:00pm, and not only the service was bad (our waitress was unattentive to the point where we had to struggle to get her attention every time and it was not busy), then I got really bad intestinal problems that started eight hours later. I ordered the Enchaladas Supreme. My mother ordered something else and thankfully she did not get sick. I was going to bring the food home with me but then I found a hair in my food that was not mine. I am glad I did not take the food home with me. When I told the waitress of the problem, she seemed concerned, but not much else.

Love it here, food and drinks are great

It is the one on Kingshighway, it has in summer outdoor eating. It has a pretty big dining room area, nice bar can sit and eat at to. Service is good for these times. Food is still really decent too and good quality still too. Only thing drinks are high so cheaper to get a picture of Margaritas. Lunch specials are not bad priced just the beers, etc.
