This was the only place I ever ate at because its authentic Mexican I been coming for over 3 years now this whole year my food been messed up poor customer service I understand the language barrier but when I turn around and show you my plate looking like this all I got was a shoulder shrug usually they have the three divider to go trays if they did not have them they should have separated my toppings and sides in the salsa container I just left because I do not like having problems my food was soggy from the beans and sour cream last time I was missing things

This was my first time here and loved the food! Our waitress was not very good with English, which was the only issue, but we managed.Delicious food, will definitely go back!!!

I want to say don't come but that is only because I'm selfish. Good pricing and really good food. Had the Honduras tacos, while my husband had the Tortas. Both very good. Waitstaff is friendly. Food comes out quickly. The interior is a bit gritty, but didn't negatively impact the experience.

Great mixed fajitas and some green sauce that makes this place different from everywhere else in the state that serves ketchup and calls it salsa.

Food is delicious and authentic. I really enjoyed my seafood enchiladas and I also often order the Tilapia filet. They also have an alternate Central American menu with some additional options to the Mexican food that is pretty abundant in this area. Servers don't speak much English and neither do the clientele, but the vibe is calm and friendly. So if you want authentic and delicious you have it here.

Went on Cinco de Mayo had a good time. Staff friendly and professional.

El Comal was a great lunch stop on a busy weekday! Right off of St. Charles Rock Road and easy to find. The menu has everything you'd expect plus a bonus Honduran food menu to choose your food from. Service was excellent and made we were taken care of.

Kind workers! Great food. I enjoyed the camarones a la diabla with my margarita fresa (strawberry margarita). The shrimp had great flavors and perfect spice level to add a spark to the night. The meal was filling. I would certainly return.

There is nothing like authentic Mexican food. This spot is cozy, quiet, and truly provides an experience. Love to watch and listen to Mexican music videos that I don't see anywhere else. Margaritas pack a punch, and are low cost. The food is delicious, and there has never been an occasion where it disappoints. Generous portions are given at the right price point. One thing that did disappoint- they would not let me take my Margarita to go (not aware of the new laws). Guess they don't realize the tremendous amount of revenue they could generate by simply doing that!

This place has really improved its quality of food as well as the restaurant itself since my first visit years ago. Friendly good service with fresh food, well prepared and full of flavor.Be prepared to eat for the portions are large.
