I've never had Denny's before so my wife and I decided to go of breakfast. Besides being very affordable in a time when restaurants are charging sky high prices because of inflation, the food was just what the doctor ordered. The restaurant was clean and the service was quick. We're in and out in less than hour. We will definitely be going back.
Had a real bad experience Sunday! The waitress took our order brought our drinks everything was fine until an hour later and 3 customers later our food wasn't on our table! She took care of the other customers instead of us she never came to our table and check on us or at least bring some drinks makes me mad because if she really hates her job or didn't want to be there just quit! She needs more training on customer service and people skills manager needs to talk to her or just fire her plain and simple! Very bad experience and customer service I hope that anyone in upper management read this and contact me because she's going to give a bad reputation to the business.
The food was burnt the first time they brought it out. So when they remade it I had to take it to go due to running out of time. The grease both times was appalling. Definitely would not recommend. The server was a decently pleasant person though.
Was here the other morning because I had my first ever breakfast date! This is alo the first time I'd been to a Denny's that wasn't immediately preceded by the club and my first trip back in near a decade. Ordered the chocobanana pancakes, turkey bacon, and coffee. They were great and really hit the spot. I don't know that there will be a second date though.If my date is reading this-Thank you for, again, a really top notch breakfast. Wasn't out waitress the best!?! She was hilarious, attentive but not pushy, and went above and beyond. I don't think is a match between us. I hope you understand. You are a catch and I know you're gonna find someone who's right for you, don't rush it. Also, thanks for recommending the pancakes. 5/5 I'll be back for them.**Not with you though. Just to clarify.
I normally try to find something positive, manager gave a quick refund after seeing what was returned. Ordered a cheeseburger and a cob with steak salad. Cheeseburger was burned and had a hair burnt into it. And when shown to get a refund the burger tapped on the counter it was so hard. Ordered prime rib (premium price) as a add to the cob salad, the steak looked like beef jerky. Not somewhere I will be going g back too.
Our Server was nice n polite. Only complaint was as a x- waitress he should have checked the plates and not brought out burnt toast and overly browned hash browns.So had to return toast, hash browns, and my husband's pancakes we cold they went back.We ate at the Denny's at Watson and Lindbergh in Kirkwood
My wife and I went here Wednesday eve 3/9/22. The female waitress created a scene by yelling at another male host for taking her table. He did an OK job with everything but most of the time all of the employees were in the back leaving all customers alone in the lobby. The steak knife brought to us had old food on it. Time to look for a different place to eat!
Food was pretty good but our waitress was Mia quite a lot. All of our soda were empty for over 30 minutes.
Business Outlook Dine-InStaff is very polite, welcoming and courteous in the morning not sure about evening.Free Wifi average is 17 down 3 up and is inconsistent with speeds each time(1) outlet in the middle of the island within restaurant(1) Bathroom each gender; Big stall for handicap. Working soap and sink. MenStaff is friendly to each other and shows team work.-2nd visitFast service, hospitable and tactfully accommodating.My food was cooked more on the rare side for medium rare. Next time I am going to just go medium.They replaced the entire plateBathroom is clean and does not smell badStaff looks after each other and builds rapport through work schedules and updates.Plenty of parking.
Had to ask for napkins. Only a limited menu. My spaghetti must have been under a heat lamp because a few spots of spaghetti was crunchy. Meatballs taste great.
