First time trying Somalian food and I have one word, DELICIOUS!! I’ll definitely be back.
A small restaurant space in the back of a store. Definitely lots of authentic Somali food as I tried the goat for a first time (will go with Chicken next time). Service was friendly and the rice was excellent. It lost a star as it could have been a little more clean (e.g. wash the dirt off the doors/wall and hang the fly catcher tape somewhere other than the dinning area)
My daughter, and myself decided to try Somalian food on Christmas Eve for the 1st time. What a complete winner! My daughter picked fish, rice, and salad. I tried ugali (stiff porridge), goat meat and salad. We enjoyed our food, and will be back! I loved the packed bottles of water with a banana for each of us. Very healthy, and a nice finishing touch. A very nice place for a happy hour or a meal. The menu is sufficiently divers, the service is attentive and the ambience is pleasant. Staff is outstanding. Highly recommend.Will certainly be back.Khadar D.
