I was in a hurry to get to court to testify on illegal lockdowns from last year. I had a quick outdoor lunch at Lakehouse Bar & Grill, and it was great! The lemonade was fresh, not too sweet, not to tart, just right! The Frisco Burger was medium rare and tasty, and the Onion straws were actually onion rings - but I liked them. My 3 smoked chicken "tacos" came on mini flour tortillas and were beyond good. The staff was great and got me out quickly enough to make my appointment and testify to the utter failure of lockdowns and protocals illegally mandated last year.

My husband, daughter and I went here for lunch today. It is a BEAUTIFUL Sunday afternoon (and the first day of Spring), so I know everyone is anxious to get out!We arrived at 1:00ish and had to wait about 15 minutes to get our name on the list. We were prepared for a wait and was going to stroll around the lake while we waited. They told us 30-40 minutes before we would be seated. We walked around the lake for a while and came back to check on our table and waited outside for almost another hour. They ended up putting a sign up saying they were not longer seating new guests.I felt so bad for the employees there. They were so short staffed and were running around like fiends. The food was delicious and our baby doggie loved her meal too. (So thankful we could have her join us!)Our server had to be exhausted but she didn't let it show. I think they only had 2 servers and 1 bartender and whatever kitchen staff we couldn't see. Our service was incredible, she was very attentive and very pleasant. I hope everyone was kind to these folks today!!!We will be back again and I hope they can get more staff so they don't get run ragged all the time. Thanks for your hospitality!

Lots of secondhand smoke from outdoor diners, parking lot loiterers, and some employees.Rude staff. Went there on a fall Sunday to see a football game and purchase lunch. As I entered and looked for a TV screen with my game in the indoor section, the bartender said, "Can I help you!" in a nasty rhetorical voice, meaning I wasn't welcome and that I was doing something wrong. Should have walked out immediately, but went to the outdoor section and saw part of the game, ordering a burger. The server was polite. Overpriced typical bar food, apparently microwaved from deep freeze. I may have been the only customer under 50 years old.Don't leave anything unattended in the parking lot or else it might get stolen (true for most park parking lots). The parking lot is a good place to get on the system of park trails.

Love CC and Mallard Lake since my 1st run here on 2006. We were married at the falls in 2009. Whenever I'm in town I try to make it back for a visit. I'd rather run here than at Forest Park.

Great atmosphere great waiter and great food. Love this place!

A group of 8 of us came to lunch on Saturday afternoon. Our waitress was Megan and I just want to express how happy we were with her service. Some of our group arrived later than others (got lost) so we were there for an extended period of time. Megan was so patient, helpful and attentive to us all. Besides the food being real good, we all said we’d like to return if we had Megan again!!!!

The food was good, I ordered the fish (you can tell it's from frozen) not much flavor. The fries were good, but the pulled pork nachos were amazing! Order the stuffed mushrooms, you won't be disappointed. The manager was nice and the patio is the spot to chill, eat and vibe to the band.

The waitress was friendly and nice. The food was ok. We found 2 long hairs in our marinara, they were definitely not from our waitress.

Mom (89) and I (67) had a great outdoor lunch there on Sunday for my birthday. Asked the server to wear a mask, which he readily did.Lemonade was great (not too sweet) and freshly made.Mom's Frisco Burger, on sourdough bread rather than a bun, was properly medium rare and "very tasty and juicy." Onion "straws" under it were actually cut up onion rings, but she liked them. Came with one slice of tomato for two halves (?), 2 pieces of lettuce, no pickles (!?!). Mom liked it just fine, but I would have asked for the missing items. My 3 smoked chicken "tacos" came on mini flour tortillas, with a great balance of the promised fillers and a slightly peppery aioli sauce (not too much). We each took home enough for another meal, each, and it was under $35, with tip!Loved the outdoor dining area, facing the path and the lake. Would definitely return.

Like nearly every restaurant now the Lakehouse is understaffed so expect a decent wait to get food. Being so close to all the recreation of Creve Coeur Lake a healthier menu would probably be more appropriate, but it's just standard bar and grill food. If you are doing KETO you are somewhat limited to the stuffed mushrooms or maybe the side salad.
